Parking Rate Increase at WDW

FYI....As of today 10/4....
Parking rates for WDW have been increased.
It is now $20/day (was $17) for car motorcycle.
Shuttle, Limo, Camper, trailer, RV is $22.
Bus or Tractor Trailor is now $25.

Plus, valet parking at the deluxes has now increased to $25. Plus tip.

On site hotels just became a slightly better deal.

I love it when someone brags about saving $15 per night at an offsite hotel, then they have to pay $20 per day for parking at the parks. (of course there are times when this doesn't apply, mainly AP holders)

I pay less for full days in NYC garages when I get a good deal lol

The RV parking in comparison seems like a good deal, only $2 more.

The increase is going to make it more likely that non-guests are going to try parking at the resorts for theme park access. As a resort guest who has had trouble finding a spot at my own resort in the past, I'm hoping Disney is going to be more diligent about watching the resort lots (though I doubt that will happen).

Heard on the news this a.m. that Universal has upped their parking fee to match Disney's.
