Hi, we will be there from December 23 to December 30, 2015. We are staying on site at the Pacfic Royal. A few questions. First, does this hotel have on site guest laundry facilities? Does it have ice machines where we can fill our cooler up instead of doing a refrigerator? Second, I keep reading how bad the crowds are. Are the lockers at the rides too full to put your items in that require you to do so? Can you wear a lanyard on the rides but tucked inside of your shirt? How crazy is this week going to be?

We will be there the same time.

Yes they have laundry.

Yes ice machines on every floor.

I don't use lockers.

Yes, tuck lanyards.

Yes, it's going to be CRAZY!!! Especially right after xmas.

Yes they have laundry and ice
Lockers will be busy
Use Lanyards and

It will be packed

How crazy is this week going to be?

CRAZY.

If you're going to use a cooler, PLEASE keep it in the bathtub. Leaks do happen and they aren't pretty when they happen on carpet.

If you get a renovated room at Royal Pacific you'll get a fridge included.

You guys are great with the quick responses. Thanks. We have been to these parks two times in the past three years. First time for Christmas. If any of you have traveled there during Christmas what advice can you give me. We had such a great time the other times we have gone but I am worried that the crowds will make it impossible to join. I have warn the kids who at 13 and 15. Are the parks okay in the morning and late evening? If we left in the afternoon and went back to hotel or over to a movie can we get back in? I read where they stop letting people in when it reaches capacity?

They don't always reach capacity. Some years they do, some they don't .I wouldn't overly stress. They shouldn't be too crazy in the am but get busier as the day goes on. With the express passes, you will do ok on the attractions. you just need extra time to plan for meals, bathrooms etc, and pack your patience with you

Since the crowds are going to be beyond crazy and we do have express passes because we are staying on site, how long are the express pass lines? I know it's hard to give exact but from anyone's experience from being down there during Christmas, what was it like for you? What would you do different or recommend to make this trip extra special for us. My husband passed away a few months ago so I really want this to be a fun and a memorable trip regardless of the crowds. We are usually very patient people but anything I can do or research ahead of time really helps with the stress.

Here is my post from a similar thread last week:

We did Christmas there in 2010 from Dec. 22nd-28th.

It didn't get over the top crazy until the 26th. The 22nd-24th and even Christmas day was manageable with Express Pass. We never waited more than 5-10 mins for a ride in the express lane. Starting on the 26th though waits of 15-20 mins were normal and up to 30 mins at peak hours, but thats alot better than 120+ mins.

The HP areas will be crazy, but the rest of the park is doable.
