Hi all! We returned from the parks on Thursday evening, but I'll have to wait a couple more days before I can write a report.
I just wanted to share something exciting that happened Thursday morning. My DD and I went on Crush's Coaster first thing, which I was a bit nervous about, after finding it quite tough last year. At about the top of the ride, the car slowed down, then came to a halt. Then the lights in the building switched on, and we were informed of a technical error. So all 5 cars inside were evacuated, and we had to use the catwalks to get back down. It was really interesting to notice how good the effects are because it's completely different without them. Just a big black house. It was quite fascinating to see how the tracks run inside each other. My poor daughter, who loves CC, got quite frightened when she saw how horizontal some of the tracks were.
We were given tickets to go back to the exit to ride again later. It took some convincing, but I got my daughter to join me, and we had fun. And we learned that sitting backwards is better!
