Is there a Disney food you like so much that you make it at home?

They don't have biscuits and gravy in the Northeast? That's one of the saddest things I've ever read.

Like, whenever someone reads your post, a Sarah MacLachlan song should start playing.

I am also from The Northeast, and I think the only place that I have ever seen "Biscuits and Gravy" is at a "Crackerbarrel" restaurant. You should try there.

:rolleyes1Fruit and Nutella waffles! Also my daughter will only eat grilled cheese if it is cut into strips like at BOG!

LOVE Cracker Barrel - wish there were one closer to me!! (Closest one is about 40 mins. away).

I make the Canadian Cheddar Cheese soup all the time! We love it! I also like to try my hand at desserts... Magic Cookie Bars (meh... not like at Disney although I think that's my fault and not the recipe's!), Grapefruit Cake (ok... still not the same!), Dole Whip a few times... this is ok.

The BEST thing I ever made was the Werther's Chewy Caramel bars from Karamell Kuche. The recipe is SPOT ON!!!

Enjoy!

I make ohana bread pudding with some frequency. I also make kahlua pork sliders from the Hawaii booth at F&W. I love the sliders and it is an accessible recipe.

I make Breakfast Lasagna (minus the brandy) and breakfast potatoes from Crystal Palace.
Nut Crusted Salmon from Boma.
Griddled cheese with pistachios and honey from Greece at food and wine
Caramel apples and rice krispy treats shaped like Mickey!
Need to master some of those Trader Sam's cocktails!

In my pre-Weight Watcher days, we enjoyed the Le Cellier cheddar cheese soup, William Penn pasta from LTT, beef kabobs from Restaurant Marrakesh, chocolate mousse from....somewhere.

Now that we're on WW, much of Disney food doesn't fit our lifestyle.

So far the only thing I have made is the carrot cake cookies.. SOOO yummy.

I need to figure out how to make Ohana bread pudding, but my waistline would probably be better off if I saved that delicacy for vacation.

I only make the Hoop Dee Doo review cornbread. My daughter loves it! We do disney moviw nights adn will do themed recipes based on teh movies. Love making mickey beigents and watching the Princess and the Frog

I make Canada's cheddar cheese soup. My family likes it better when I make it. I also like to make the Soupa Azteca (tortilla soup) from San Angel Inn. One last thing I make... back on our honeymoon circa 1988 I purchased the Disney cookbook in DTD. There was a dip from the Hoop-De-Do that was really good. I would post the name but am at work and don't have access to the cookbook.

I have to chime in on the biscuit and gravy controversy involving the North East. I'm from Long Island and biscuits and gravy are not a thing. However, when you have a Grandmother born and raised in Oklahoma, that you God and thank you Bosco for biscuits and sausage gravy.... best thing ever!

We bring home a new cookbook from every trip to the World, and we cook out of them often (Walt's Chili & Beans with Hoop Dee Doo cornbread this week!).

In the "favorite I make it home" category, it's definitely Flame Tree BBQ sauce.

After visiting Disneyland for the first time earlier this year, a friend did the Mint Juleps from New Orleans, they were awesome!

I really wish Disneyworld would do them!

We make bobootie, the dish the serve at boma. The pork nachos/pork sandwich from cap'n cooks as well.
