Wonder Scavenger Hunt

I have adopted both approaches in the past. If I have given prices, then I just picked up some small gifts from the stores on the ship like keychains, magic towels, magnets, etc.

Thanks.. I know I have to change the question with winnie the pooh and the one with the carpet are the rest still valid?

So fun!

Has this been done at a set time? How long do the teams have to get all the answers? How do the prizes work? Did you give them out to the fastest team, or what other criteria did you use? I'd like to put something together for my upcoming cruise.

On a smaller cruise I have given the packs out at the Meet on embarkation day and on the Hawaii cruise I emailed them to everybody in advance and they printed their own. They then had until the last sea day to do this. I had a points system with each question or task having a certain number of points attached to it and the family with the most points won.

Can anyone confirm that #19 is only in the ladies restroom? I am hoping it is in both so my DS can do the entire hunt.

There is also a nautical flag in the window of one of the gift shops that spells out DCL. I am not sure wich one but I did see that info somewhere on the Disboards.

What you are referring to is a glass panel above the door to Treasure Ketch that is nearest to the Walt Disney Theater.

The flags on the floor of the ladies restroom dont actually spell out DCL... I guessed on this one and got it right.

The prize was a shot glass, tequilla, a small surfboard ornament and some candy... If i remember right. This was a fun thing to do on my first cruise!
Mahalo!!

They still did in May as I double checked this.

The Wonder Scavenger Hunt also contains three puzzles to solve. I have a PDF document. If anybody wants the complete thing, please PM me your email address and I will send it to you.

Despite this being a Zombie Thread, it might be of interest to some that last week on the Wonder there was a scavenger hunt of sorts in the Daily Navigator. I didn't do it, but IIRC there were clues each night and I saw the symbols the clues were supposed to lead you to around the ship. The whole thing was Frozen themed. There was some small prize available for completing the whole thing...sorry I don't have more info.

It was actually a fun thing to do with younger kids but we didn't realize that it ended on Frozen night. Our cabin steward had to explain we had already received our treat before we began the hunt.LOL The kids wouldn't touch it anyway- a big rice krispy disc with a Frozen logo on white chocolate. Description is approximate as they were never opened.

I would love to help you, but I put this together in January 2011 for a Mexican Riviera cruise later that year. I then reused this on the inaugural Hawaii cruise in April 2012 and even then a couple of the questions no longer made sense. A lot of the information will have changed like availability of stuff and prices as 4 years is half an eternity when it comes to Disney. Some of the artwork will also have been swapped out.

Going on the PC cruise next month with some friends and I may spring this on them with the caveat that some things may have changed. Regardless of what might not be current, thanks for putting it together originally!!!
