Hi everyone! We are traveling 9\12-9\19 I know its hot and I know it rains almost every afternoon but my real question is in the evenings is it sweat shirt weather or are you still really comfortable in shorts and s tshirt? We are taking a 4.5 y/o and a 1 y/o and in just want to be prepared! We have gone in September before but it has been so long that I can't remember. TIA

It tends to be warm (mid-70's) with high humidity at night in September. Shorts and a t-shirt will be adequate!

You won't need a sweat shirt, you will be warm.

Thanks I was wondering too, going the same dates!! I figure I will not being sweatshirts and if we need them we will be buying a souvineer.

We have gone twice the last week of September both times - it rained only one day out of both week long trips! Ponchos are nice (but don't forget something to carry wet soggy ponchos in after the rain stops) - other than that it's pretty hot and humid, even into the evenings. I was always comfortable in shorts and a tank night and day.

We've been there twice in September and never needed sweatshirts....but I'll still be packing 1 each for next week's trip.

We just got back, and while you wouldn't need sweatshirts during the day, there were many instances where my children wanted to put them on in the restaurants at dinner or even on the bus heading home.
