Restaurant opening times & Brunch at Inventions

Hi all,

Planning well ahead for our Halloween 2015 trip to DLP and I had a couple of questions I was hoping someone could help me with please.

1 - Does anyone have a link to any source of opening times for restaurants in the park?
2 - What is the differences between a standard booking @ Inventions and the brunch booking?

I've booked us in for the Halloween brunch and don't really know what to expect...

No October times up yet! I'll post them on here when they are. The Reservation line will know opening times however as when I booked my earlier October ressies they had all the times in front of them.
The special Halloween and Sunday Brunch are held from from 1-3pm I believe and you can stay as long as you want.
So I'd recommend booking from the start to maximise character time.

Hi,

I called reservations line yesterday and they advised that the Halloween brunch was on Sunday 1st Nov - we've booked in for 1.15pm
Has anyone been to this before - will all the characters/theme be set for Halloween?

We were a little disappointed after calling the reservations line - they advised that our favourite restaurant - Bistro Chez Remy - is only open for lunch during our entire 5 day stay for Halloween
I'm not sure we'll be going here during our stay now...it's a bit much for lunch...

I find it a little hard to understand the thinking behind it really.
We went at the end of May when The Studios closed at 6pm and Chez Remy was open for dinner then - we even had to be escorted out of The Studios after dinner as the park was closed.
In Oct, The Studios are open until much later, but the Chez Remy closes after lunch....doesn't make much sense.

It's unclear as to whether there will be a Halloween brunch or even any characters in Halloween costumes on the Saturday, but the Halloween brunch for the Sunday has been confirmed. It should be 8-10 characters (Mickey & co.) in special Halloween costumes. you get a glass of champagne or orange juice and some bread rolls to start, then help yourself to the lovely buffet!

When I spoke to dining reservations, I asked if there was a brunch on Saturday for Halloween and the chap said no, that Sunday was the Halloween brunch.
We're really looking forward to our visit to Inventions

Just a quick update on this.

In an earlier post, I'd commented that the Bistro Chez Remy was only open for lunch during our stay.
I called the dining reservations line again - sort of hoping that the first chap I'd spoken to had been mistaken - and the lady I spoke to on my second call gave me some extra information.

When I asked for the opening hours of the Chez Remy, she advised that it was open for lunch but went on to add "so booking is available from 11am-5pm" - thats right 5pm was counted as lunch!
Either way, it has made us all very happy as we've been able to make what is, for us at least, a dinner booking for 5pm at our favourite restaurant

Halloween Day is never a brunch. It is usually, at least the last 4 years, a themed lunch where they do wear the special outfits. If the official theme of the Sunday brunch is Halloween, and it looks that way, they may well skip it. Or, it could be the same ones both days. I also saw a themed dinner one year where they had the costumes on while on my way to the Soiree.

With that in mind, they were telling people on the phone last year, no costumes, but they did them anyway.

Ooh this is good news. My DH loves Chez Remy and they told us it would only be open for 'lunch' for our trip! Will have to check again
