When to Visit?

What time of year is the best to visit that will be the least humid?? Plan on visiting and seeing as much as we can in the theme parks and other points of interest in a 3 week trip

I believe it is February through May is the least humid times in the afternoon. Morning humidity is high all year.

I agree with Davper, however there are still crowd levels to consider. You will want to look at the crowd calendars such as the ones at easywdw.com to hopefully select your weeks, avoiding spring break and Easter if at all possible. We usually select the end of April/beginning of May.

We've gone Dec, Oct, and going in Nov. Dec was good weather but crowded. Oct had some hot short weather days. Met a family on that trip who goes a lot with annual passes. She said their favorite months were Jan. and Feb.

Living here I can tell you that Jan is my favorite month to visit. Weather is normally cool but not normally cold (it can be though). Typically Nov - March is not humid. Temps are moderate to cool (usually ok for swimming for non-FL people) and rain is not usually a factor. Does it rain? Yes but normally Nov - March is "dry" season here. I usually refer to our winters to a north eastern spring time. It can be cold or it can be hot but it usually is almost never brutal. It starts to heat up in April and humidity finds its way back to us in May.

We've gone in Dec & found humidity way low - some rainy days, but not hot/humid - would love a trip during jan,feb or march, but living in NJ we never know when WE might be stuck in a nor'easter here & unable to fly out...

Over the years, I have gone most months.

I've been in December when it's nice and warm during the day, and also when it's just downright cold! Like, not fun cold.

January, I've been when it's okay and nice in the sun and warm, and years ago, when the high was 50 degrees F. Like winter coat cold. To me.

July is one month I refuse to visit. Check it off your list. Like it was ever on it.

Our spring break trips are normally March - this year was particularly hot and humid - not the norm! Hot like you want to swim hot! We enjoyed it (like all trips!).

If you can do late fall, you'd be at the Food & Wine Festival. Fun.

I don't know what weeks work for you, but honestly, if you can avoid July, you're good! We spend a lot of time at Epcot in the heat - nice pavilions and countries to explore!

My favourite trip was in December, the week before schools let out for Christmas. Crowds were great, weather was nice, plus all the Christmas decorations were up. I will never go in the summer again if I can help it!

January and February definitely are least humid and outside of a few key events to avoid also have pleasant crowd levels.

HOWEVER - a few things to think about...

1) Although rare it can be VERY cold. Is this a risk you want to take? We've been in Orlando every year since 2006 in either Jan or Feb and 2 out of those 10 visits we had a stretch of days with highs in the 40's or 50's and low's near or below freezing. (While still better than the 10 degrees in Pittsburgh it was rough!).

2) Some rides have closures during this time period

3) Park hours can be shorter so that offsets the crowds slightly. IF you're a night owl and like to stay late at parks know that this time of year there aren't many chances to do that.
