Decisions, decisions..... WH vs WBC pools question

I know, this is widely discussed on this board, but I'm looking for feedback from people who have been to both recently.

Looking at WBC 2 bedroom deluxe versus WH 3 bedroom townhouse with splash pool. We have stayed at marriott 2 bedroom condos and loved them, which is why I lean toward WBC (we like staying at the resort). However there are many reviews on tripadvisor saying that the pools at WBC are like frat parties with drunk adults and unsupervised kids running amok.

The pool would be the main reason we would choose WBC, and since we are going during Easter Week I fear it will be packed and miserable. I lean toward WH because we would have our private splash pool so the kids could have a mini swim, then we could walk over to the main pool for extended swims, without getting irritated at other families. DD wants the water slide, DS just wants a pool.

Can someone provide feedback on the true situation at WBC pools? (reports of dirty pools, overcrowded, can't get chairs and towels, drunk adults, crazy kids)

I have spent my last 4 Easters at WBC. My 2 sons use the pools all the time! (My younger son would skip the theme parks and just hang at WBC if he had his choice!) I have never experienced any drunk adults or dirty pools. It can get crowded during prime pool time (afternoons) and finding chairs together isn't always easy but we have always found a place to put our stuff and the pools themselves have never felt crowded. When we've gone to swim in the later afternoon/evening, we've had our choice of seating areas and this is during the holiday time period when Magic Kingdom closes to capacity. Pool towels are signed out at the activity desk so I have no idea what people are talking about re towels!

I haven't been to both so I can't compare as you are asking. But we have stayed at WBC many times and have never had any of these concerns. I can't imagine staying anyplace else. It is absolutely love it there!

We've stayed at Bonnet Creek nearly 20 times in the past decade and never experienced any such things. The resort has 5 pools and 2 lazy rivers, so you'd think you could find a pool scene that meets your needs.

While we haven't been spring break we always have been holiday time. I've never see large crowds or drunk folks. The busiest pool seemed to be the one by the putt putt course but it was because there were lots of families with children. I understand that because the pool is geared for them with slide and splash pad, putt putt and playground all together. But there are several other pool options, lazy rivers, pirate ship slide.

I would go with whatever type lodging would make your trip! I love being right there at Disney property with WBC (heading back in October).

Thank you everyone for the responses - I try to take tripadvisor reviews with a grain of salt (like the people who complain about no housekeeping at a timeshare lol) but it seemed to be a recurring theme in the reviews so wanted to check in with the veterans of WBC who have BTDT.

I've been to both multiple times. While WH has a beautiful pool, it doesn't compare to all FIVE pools that WBC has. I haven't experienced rude, drunk, loud, obnoxious people at either place. The thing with WBC, is that if there are annoying people at one pool, you can pick up your stuff and go to a different pool since there are so many.

We have also stayed both places and never had issues with any drunkards or disruptive people.
