Question about memory maker

If we get the MM will we be able to see our pictures at nights or on breaks on an iphone or ipad or would we have to wait until we are actually at a computer. I am really hoping we have the money to do this this summer!

We were able to view the photos while we were still on vacation. I don't remember checking them on my iPhone, but we definitely looked at them on the iPad. They are organized by date and location. That was in July. The MM was free for the AP Package I got. We are going again next week and I bought it this time.

Was there last month (July 2015). I was the tour guide to two first timers. I had them purchase memory maker for 3 days of parks. We had over 400 pictures in those three days. Not bad for $169.
Very few photos were messed up (only 5-6).

Do the photographers kind of gripe and such when there is a party and they want individual and group photos? My 2 BFFs and I are going and even though we want photos together (in front of the castle, with characters) we also want them individual. I don't want to tick someone off after taking a group shot and then saying "ok now we each want one of us".

I think what you should do -- is get in line then each person take an individual picture== then after that-- grab a group shot. Know what you are gonna go takes less time then standing around talking about who gets the next picture. We did that for a group=-- a large group and it worked fabulous-- less then 3 minutes each

We have just come back and found that the photographers were very accommodating of taking group photos and then individual photos. We even got some custom shots of our magic bands which they were happy to take!

are the photos that are taken on rides automatically placed in your account? if we are wearing our magic bands, are they magically added to our account?

i looked the question up online and disney world's page about MM said that you have to go to the photo desk and have them add it to your account.. made it sound like a big hassle.

Sorry, but that's not true. There's a sensor on the ride that detects your Magic Band. Read this post from another thread about MM:

http://disboards.com/threads/memory-maker-and-ride-photos.3436409/page-2#post-54287148

My guess is that they didn't update that page after adding the sensors.

i think i'll go for buying it.. it's a bit pricey but for 10 days worth that is only 14$ a day, and we plan to do lots of character meets. At home taking pics is proving to be a huge challenge.. trying to get baby and DD4 to both be looking and smiling.. so with MM they keep taking a bunch. If we give them our camera they only take 1-2.

The people who stay offsite and get the Memory maker should be using the card that comes in the mail for their ride photos-- and will have to stop at a kiosk. This is not so for the people onsite who are using magic bands

My memory maker is linked to my magic band. (I'm staying offsite) and the rep told me that i don't have to use the card since it's linked.

the card is for people who stay off site and do NOT have a magic band. Majority of people who stay offsite do not purchase the magic bands. They will need to use the card to get photopass pictures
