Easiest drive from Beach Club to Vineland Avenue Premium Outlets

Hi all! On our arrival day, I will be renting a car for a day for a run to the Premium Outlet Mall on Vineland Avenue as well as a stop at Publix for supplies. We are staying at Beach Club Villas and I'll be picking up the car at Alamo at The Dolphin. I know that traffic around Downtown Disney is a mess. My normal route would be taking World Center Drive by DTD. Does anyone know of a better route that I could take that would avoid the construction? Thanks :)!

Check out Google maps. The first option it showed me was via Buena Vista Drive to Epcot Center Drive, onto I 4, then exit 68 to Vineland. This avoids DTD. I didn't check for Publix though.

I'd agree with Minnie mum above about taking that route. You're only on I-4 for a couple of miles. There is a Publix right next to the Premium Outlets.

We go around dtd by going to okw and take vacation drive all the way and come out on the SSR side. We then drive past the hotel village and turn right towards Vineland. There is a publix across from the outlet.

Thanks for your replies :).

n2mm ~ so, I can "see" this in my head, can you please tell me if this is your route:

Exit the BC on to World Drive. Turn right on to Epcot Center Drive. Left on Disney Vacation Club Way. Right on Buena Vista Drive. Left on Hotel Plaza Blvd. I know the rest of the way from there :). Thanks!

Actually that won't work. If you go up World Drive and take the Epcot exit you can only go into Epcot there. You can't actually get on Epcot Center Drive on that route.

You take world drive until you get to the light where the OKW tower is. Take a left at the light and go to the light where you turn right for OKW and turn right. Follow that until you past SSR and take a right. Follow that to the light (DTD will be on your right/bus area). Follow the road to go up the Disney Village hotel road to the end and you will be facing the crossroads. Take a right and that will take you to the Vineland sign (after the underpass). Turn left and you will get to the outlets. (I'm terrible at directions, but hope it makes sense).

I think there is some confusion as to World Drive. That's the road that starts down at I-4 near Celebration and runs north to the MK. N2MM and dznyacct may be thinking of Buena Vista Drive which runs between DHS and Epcot.

Or.... after you pass SSR, turn left. Go until road dead ends, turn right. This brings you to 436 (I think that's the number), next major intersection. Turn right again. Go under the interstate, take the first left onto Vineland.

It's longer, but it COMPLETELY avoids DTD and is the way I go to anyplace over in Lake Buena Vista.
