Podcast Cruise 6.0!!! Official Info

We are in a Crown Loft Suite (That is what my DW told me this AM).
Ahh, you're right. You'll be in Sky Class like us. I've got an email out to Tracey @DSNYDREAMER to find out how much it will cost us to upgrade. I know she's in CA right now for D23 so it will be a while before I hear back. :sail:

Hmmm, maybe I'm disremembering which category you are booked in, or confusing it with @WebmasterKathy, but I thought you were in Star Class. Val & I are in Sky Class, since we have a Grand Suite.

You will still have to associate with those of us in lowly steerage on occasion!

Laurie

We're with you, Laurie. I think our room brochure included instructions on using the water-bailing buckets, and how to close off those sectional doors as part of our elite package. :p

For those of you who are used to paying DCL's high prices, the fancier cabins on Oasis probably seem like a bargain! On the other hand, I have always opted for the "cheap seats" - as I'd rather travel more often and/or take longer trips than spend more on a room to sleep.

We may actually be going on this cruise! Hoping it works out that we can.

We are booked on this cruise too. We have done 20 Disney cruises and 1 on Holland America. We always wanted to check out this huge ship just to experience the largest cruise ship afloat! We did not know the DIS was going on an RCCL cruise but, it's nice to know there will be some friendly DIS people on board. BTW, we got a Deck 7, Promanade Stateroom with a window! Happy Cruising!

Good Afternoon everyone !!!! this thread has gotten quiet lately......but I know the chatter will pick up next year once we can start a count down.

Hi! It's tough to say much about a trip that is still 16 months away. I've got way more timely things to think about. I just booked our November trip to Disney World on Sunday. We'll be in Boston next month for the DIS meet, then Delaware in October for their meet. We will almost definitely be back in Disney World in January with our daughter during winter break.

And now we have July 2016 to plan for since Pete announced the "mega meet" for the DIS Unplugged's 10th anniversary. I'm not missing that for sure.

Hello Cherinva and all my fellow cruise mates. I was wondering if our group can do or can not do an FE like exchange on RC? For sure as we get closer we will have a mixology or two class? My mom loves the mixology classes because she usually gets to finish the drinks I do not like.

This will be our first cruise on a ship other than Disney. Anything we should prepare for differently, other than the size and a casino?

Hi guys - my husband Rick and I will be joining you on this podcast cruise in December 2016 and we are so very excited!!!! When will there be any updated info on special excursions, etc.? I know it is still early, but this is not only our first podcast cruise, but also OUR FIRST CRUISE! Could you please add us to you guest list? Thank you. We love you guys and feel like you are part of our family each week.

Meets and activities are usually announced about a month prior to sailing. I don't think there has ever been a special podcast excursion.

Please let me know your cabin number and real names to put you on the list.

I can understand there not being a "private" excursion but do folks from the DIS group tend to travel together? Does the DIS crew let everyone know which excursions they will be on if we want to join them? Or does everyone just go their own way when we hit port?

Everyone splits up into their cliques and does their own thing. I was fortunate enough to go on a private excursion with one of the podcasters, but it was not the norm. We had a lot of fun.
