A Safe Amount of Time to Get to MCO?

We're used to allowing a lot of time to get to the gate at MCO, I'm paranoid about missing a flight and we enjoy a final Happy Hour before heading home. This Nov. 7, a Saturday, our SW flight departs at 11:55 am., I had a later flight in mind but before I could complete the transaction the morning the flights were released they were gone. We'd like to have a relaxing morning that day, wifey likes to linger over a coffee and I enjoy a cigar near Atlantic Dance in the am so we're looking to get to MCO in our Dollar rental car as late as is safe to do. So... a noon flight on Sat Nov 7, when can we safely get there?

I like walking away from the Rental Car check in (Dollar is on site, right?) ~2 hours before my flight. So that would be walking away at 10AM.
Figure 45 minutes to drive from WDW and fuel up... leave parking lot at 9:15AM.

If you want a little extra "slop", leave at 9A.

I would leave by 9:00 - no later.

I would arrive at the airport 2 hours before departure.

Thanks for the replies, I was afraid there'd be no cutting this close. I was shooting for a 2:15 pm flight on SW, up at the crack of dawn, it was there when I started the booking but gone before I could complete it. Oh well...

Bill keep watching. SWA flight prices change frequently. In June I was 4 days from leaving for WDW and the flight down that I really wanted dropped in price. I was shocked that just 4 days from my trip that flight price dropped. I was able to make the change FREE of charge. So don't give up hope. I check my SWA daily to see if the prices have dropped.
