Eh, the stoplights fixed the problem they meant to fix, but just exasperated the toll booth problem. Still better than it was.
This is good.... not a perfect solution, but it will do SOME good until the flyover goes in. Really - I felt very SORRY for the poor bus drivers that had to deal with that mess of an intersection :(. We noticed too many times how often opposing buses tried to be courteous, and work with each other - only to have a rogue car create a potential issue :-).

Well...now I'm interested...because the defenders of the shield are now promoting "exclusive" merchandise...

The MO of this type of toy - ie Star Wars in Disney parks...is just a slightly different take on the mainstream toy with a limited selection and some of the mainstream stuff.

We'll see what they do here. If its something interesting...I may very well go on eBay.

But honestly...parks product is REALLY cheap...more than Wally's...for along time. If they carry items made by another manufacturer in a partnership...like lego, Nike, tommy bahama... Then I'm more Inclined to be Interested.

And I'm pretty sure I understand the "rabid fan" mentality...having been in the rain for hours to see the phantom steaming pile of menace, went in the middle of the night for the initial lego set releases and the prequel toys, and went to a celebration a few years ago.

The infinity Star Wars game comes out tonight..I'd go at 12 but little guy was promised to go first thing tomorrow.

I get it.

I'm not buying there's anything of real value rolling into the store Friday morning...I think it's still a $50 cash grab.

But it's now more Intriguing.

Don't forget the former head of consumer products is now in charge of the parks...

I was talking to a CM at one man's dream yesterday and I asked him about the closing rumors. He basically said they haven't been told any end date, but everyone knows that it's on the block since "the artist renderings show toy story land starting about halfway through this building". When asked if he though I t would be reopened elsewhere all he could say is "I hope so". Nice to see a CM not blowing smoke up the public's butt.

The other thing I wanted to mention is I never noticed until now that one man's dream basically wraps AROUND Voyage of the Little Mermaid. So it almost seems like BOTH will have to go to make way for Toy Story land.

A totally new "efficiency" model...

Subtraction by addition

Couple of things noted.

The backlot tour has been closed for a year and hasn't seen much of anything removed from it. Most notable are the draining of the tank for the first scene and the recent removal of tanks for catastrophe canyon. The backlot tour will soon be seeing a lot more things removed as to prep for upcoming construction of the announced and Toy story. Toy story will only use about half of the backlot as the other half will be used for the unannounced.

DHS could be getting Olaf soon. Just don't know where because they need somewhere with a good queue.

Mr. Incredible will be returning to DHS

Various sources have said the above

If there is one thing I would really like at WDW is separate busses for all the resorts. I know it will probably never happen because that would require a lot more busses and building a lot more bus stops at the parks.
I think deluxe resorts should have their own. Yacht and beach I can see sharing but they also share with boardwalk and Swan and dolphin that's five resorts sharing that's too much.

Have to say we are at beach club right now, and the only bus route that does this is the DTD /TL one. DAK and MK have Beach and Ycht club only buses.

The DTD/TL route is a real meSS though. This probably should have it's own post somewhere, but after 2 pm, the Typhoon Lagoon return bus isn't part of the DTD route, but instead they have buses drop off at Epcot, for what that's worth. It's supposed to alleviate some of the congestion neat DTD, but it's reallY inconvenient. Staying at beach club there isn't normally a bus, so we were the only ones on it, and it again stopped at all 5 resorts, and even though we were the. 4th one, no one else got on or off. They say nothing about this anywhere.
