I need to drop one of these character meals

We will have a 7, 5, 3 and 5 month old children with us. Should we cut:

1. our Crystal Palace Dinner (this would be based on food quality as the deciding factor because none of our kids care about pooh and friends!), we do already have a crystal palace breakfast that morning (day of 3 year old's birthday).

2. Breakfast on our HS day at Hollywood and Vine (disney Jr. characters). 7 and 5 year olds have pretty much aged out of this group of characters but they used to love a lot of these shows. worried about food quality.

TIA!!

I'm not sure how to answer since I would replace both. I would not eat at Crystal Palace twice, especially if your kids are not interested in the characters. And I think the food at H&V is probably the worst of all the character meals. Do you have any other options?

If you have Crystal Palace and CRT, I would drop H&V. The only reason to eat there would be if your kids are into the characters. It was fine, but nothing special.

I would also drop H&V if your children have outgrown the characters. The only novel thing about the character interaction there is the "dance" segment with the characters--I think every 15-20 mins or so. The only reason we did H&V for breakfast was to see Doc McStuffins. We enjoy CP as well as CRT. Have a great time!

I would cancel Crystal Palace, just because I think two character meals in one day is a lot. They take up a lot of time, and personally it's hard for me to get my kids to actually eat during them because they're too distracted by the characters.

H&V gets some bad reviews on here, but we had lunch there in Aug and it was one of the most fun meals we had all week. Our children are 6 & 2, and they both loved it. And all four adults in our group enjoyed their food.

I would not choose any character meal that has characters the kids are not interested in. They are time consuming and can be hectic. This last trip I booked a lot of character meals because I had two little girls who had never been and I was not sure where their interests would lie. I figured we would ditch several once I gauged how they were doing. WE ended up keeping them all because one of the girls was not able to handle the heat and this was the best way for her to meet characters ,but they were very time consuming and they all sprot about the same food. Yes, there are differences, but a buffet is still a buffet.

If your kids have outgrown the H&V characters I would look at 50's PTC for them. It is interactive with the servers and fun.

Int he MK, if the family is not interested in Pooh and Friends, i would either choose one of the monorail resorts for dinner.

I'd try and change the CP one if you have CRT in the morning. I was in a similar boat for the Dis Jr. one since my youngest (2) would want to see those characters. But here's the good news. Every single character at the Dis Jr. Play N Dine has a meet and greet except Handy Manny. So if your children don't care about seeing Handy Manny that much but want to see the others, you are covered.

I just got back from Disney. I did not care for crystal palace. It was my least favorite meal the entire week. 1900 park fare buffet breakfast was excellent.
