Hi...as I mentioned on a different thread, I broke my foot and am going to Disneyland in less than 3 weeks.

I know there is a handicap area at WOC and fantasmic for those in scooters and wheelchairs but what about PTN parade and the fireworks? Anyone been there lately that might know. And, if there is, where is t? I called. Guest services all ready and they didn't think there was an area but I know there usually is one and there was one last May/June.

Thanks so much!
Nancy

There are three areas for the parade. One in Town Square over on the sidewalk by where the parade enters/exits. It's in front of a store (I think it's called the Showcase or something like that). There is a spot near Pixie Hollow and another one up around the corner on the way to Small World.

In my opinion, there is really not great handicap areas for the fireworks. If you go to the Small World spot for the parade, you can then easily move into the street and up closer to Small World for the fireworks. There are supposed to be projections on the building. If you locate yourself correctly, you can turn around to see the Matterhorn also.

If you choose the Town Square location, you will have to get off the sidewalk and around to Main Street pretty quickly in order to get a spot, but you may not be able to see well.

If you choose the Pixie Hollow location, try to get into the Hub area as soon as the last float goes by. You may get a pretty good view that way.

Is there a map that shows these spots?
Can a group of 15 stay close to the person on the scooter?
If you are in an actual handicap area, they will allow 5 with you. The others can find a spot in the non handicap area. Allowing 15 would take up space for 2 other handicap families.

You can also get a space along the curb, but you have to do it early. You are not limited to the handicap area.
