Anyone Had a Solo Breakfast at Be Our Guest?

I'm trying to find out:

Are you still served that huge pastry tray if solo?

Has anyone ordered from the kids menu when solo?

I just know there's no way I could eat even 1/2 of those pastries and a full adult entree!

Thanks!

I think the pastries are mini if that helps. Facing the same thing for my upcoming trip. Figured if it was too much I would offer my tray to a family nearby.

Thanks for the replies! I'm not a huge pastry person, wish I had the option to skip them and knock a few $ off the tab.

You definitely get the full pastry tray as a solo diner. I was there on the 18th of August solo for breakfast - didn't actually eat any of the pastries as I had ordered the cronut, but it was definitely the same size plate all other parties were getting and I wouldn't have called the pastries mini!

according to this: http://www.easywdw.com/uncategorize...gdom-morning-touring-over-spring-break-32715/ you get a full tray even if you're a party of one. I'm bringing a plastic bag to pack away any leftovers!

Me, too!

Same here. I've pre-ordered a kid's meal, the scrambled eggs. I do wish they have more breakfast options

Can an adult order a kids meal there? And is it the same price as the adult meal?

I've had a kids meal for BOG lunch. Pre-ordered. Still had to go through the kiosk but no issues at all from the CMs. The adult BOG lunch was just going to be too much food for me.

I'll be eating solo 9/27 at BOG, planning to order the meats/cheese option specifically to pack most & eat later. In my case it's motion sickness I am trying to avoid as I have FP for SM first thing. I will have a small bit of pastry and pack leftovers.

I have a breakfast booked for Oct. I'm planning on bringing a ziplock bag for the pastries to nibble on throughout the day. I have an 8:15 res, and sweet things that early in the morning tends to turn my stomach!

I am a pretty big guy and don't mind chowing down (especially at Disney). I will say that I finished the entree and fruit bowl and then nibbled through the pastries (I think I may have already eaten my cinnamon roll pastry pre-pic ), but I was definitely stuffed by the end of the meal. The muffins are minis but the others are a decent size.

However, with prices going up (I think like $2 or $3), I am finding it harder to justify the cost as a solo. But if you do as the others recommend and bring a baggy and save the pastries for later, I think the total cost is an easier amount to swallow. Despite the cost, I would certainly say to check out their breakfast at least once; it's a great experience and the open-face sandwich I had was really delicious! :thumbsup2
