image.jpg Hi All. I was going through trip pictures my son took at FW in May and was wondering if anyone knows the owner of "Mack" (my son figured that must be "his"name)?!!!
Every day in our travels through the fort we would pass by and the kids would get so excited!! I was just wondering if it was owned by a Disboarder!

First name is Tom, that's all I can help with.
You will often find him in 1200 or 1100.
Awesome thanks!! I just wanted to let him know he made our kids happy everyday!! My little girl would say "goodnight Mack" when we would come back in thr evening!!

We call them "Toter Homes". Here's the new one for the race team. The 40 ft box on the back has a shop and room for 4 cars. 2 Mustangs and 2 Miatas. Plus all the tires and spares. (That's my team owner/ team mate and his wife)

Wow! Is that a Renegade? We bought one of their small models at the Hershey RV Show last year, and haven't seen any others in the "flesh".

Love, love, love the eyes on the red one.

Love em both. Still don't have a "Driver" RV but want one. (Class is not the issue as much as what it offers in way of size/bed/amenities) So jealous. Oh well, maybe some day. (Sigh!)

It is a Renegade. The coach is a 2010. Trailer was built new last winter to our specs.

And you should come to an amateur sports car race. Renegades are everywhere. Not very much else out there that can tow a semi trailer behind it AND give you sleeping for 8.

@Teamubr Do you need a CDL to drive them?
It depends on the state, but generally no. We are not "commercial" since we own the team and cars and all the "stuff". If we hired someone to drive the rig, they would need a CDL.

Missouri, where the team is based and the shop is located, does not require anything beyond a regular driver's license. Illinois, where I live, requires me to have a Class A- Non-CDL license. Our licenses above a passenger car/light truck, are based on the weight of the truck or combination. There is a gray zone for "RVs". Some parts of the code say "RVs" are excluded from the weight and licensing requirements, other places don't have the exemption. The toter meets the RV definition, but I figured I'd play it safe and get the Class A. It is a bit of a hassle. Essentially the same written and driving tests as a CDL, but without the physical. You can't get or renew at most DMV offices either. Thankfully, no log book or hours restrictions though.

I typically thought a Class-A was by default a CDL. I assumed that the Vehicle would be a Class A because of the weight. In PA the classes are by weight too. The Class-C (Cars) are vehicles < 26,001 Pounds.

I will be hiding this thread from hubby! He will want and not stop until he gets. No amount of shoes and dresses could possibly add up!

Add purses (at least the ones DW buys) to the list and you might get close. :rotfl:

Na, never mind. There's a lot of funny phrases in racing. The best one here is:

If you want to make a small fortune in racing, start with a large one.

My DW Loves Vera Bradley. They "Ain't Cheap". Even when they are on sale they are still quite pricey.

I don't understand how one woman could need so many purses, shoulder bags, lunch bags, backpacks, bill cases, etc... But hey, she rationalizes it as "This is a $200.00 Whatever and I only paid $149.99 for it. It's a bargain!"

OK. You've ventured into dangerous territory here. I'm backing out and you are on your own. :duck:

This is right there with shoes and "Does this dress make me look fat?" questions. :groom:
