In Paris- is 1day trip solo doable?

Will be in Paris for a couple of days at the end of European tour with a group. I am the only Disney fan in the bunch. Would I be able to take a train and do 1 day by myself or would this be foolish? I love WDW and have gone at least every other year (yearly when I can) for the last 20 years. I have been to Disneyland in California once. I may not get another chance for DLP and would like to experience it. I have read enough to know not to expect the same feel as WDW. I would have to do a day trip from hotel in Paris (I think it will be Ibis Styles Fintenay) by myself. Is this something I can consider or would it be too much to try to do in a day?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I would totally do it!

You won't be able to do everything but you'll be able to get a lot done.

However don't forget DLP is going through a large period of refurbishment. Google it to see what will be down for your visit.

I've done DLP and Hollywood Studios in one day.

I'd do it, a one day hopper and some rope drop action (watch out for the running in Adventureland!) you'll get loads done if you are lucky enough to be there on a slow day :)

You should do it, certainly because it's probably a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Rides in Disneyland Park you should do: Phantom Manor, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan's Flight, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast
Rides in Walt Disney Studios you should do: Ratatouille, Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Rollercoaster, Crush Coaster
Entertainment you should not miss: Disney Dreams! (at closing time of Disneyland Park nearby the castle)

In your case, I would recommend eating in Disney Village for dinner. That way you can go eat after closing time, so you don't miss any valuable time in the parks. After eating you could shop a bit in Disney Village. There are great shops there with almost everything in stock they sell in the parks. :woohoo:
Check http://www.dlpguide.com/planning/dining/restaurant-menus/ for menu's to see what you like!

Don't forget to get a park hopper so you can do both parks. :thumbsup2

Good luck! :flower:

Where is your hotel ? If it's the Ibis Styles Fontenay you aren't in Paris but in the suburbs at Fontenay sous Bois.

To get to DLP you would get the RER A at Val de Fontenay direction Marne La Vallée - Chessy (Parc Disneyland) and go right to the end of the line.

This will take you around 30 minutes once you are on the train. When you come out of the station you are at the entrance to the park.

When are you coming as there might be a cheap park ticket offer still running ?

We're doing a one day trip in October, just to DLPark and not the Studios. We're going to make the most of one day at one park. I can't wait!!! I hope it works out for you.

You should totally do it! And you will scoot through the park so much faster since you can get in the singles lines. We just got back and a couple rides we used the singles line and it was a much shorter wait! Did 2 parks in one day!

The train (RER) was super fast, clean and drops you right in the park basically!

Have fun!
