Question about renting offsite ECV at Universal

We will be staying at the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal for 4 nights before we switch to the Caribbean Beach Resort at WDW. We will need to rent an offsite ECV for each of these. I have seen the preferred vendor list for WDW. Is there such a list for Universal Resorts? We would rather be able to just have them drop it off and leave it with bell services when we are done, rather than wait around for them.

Ideally I would like to have an ECV dropped of at RPR, leave it with bell services when we leave. Then, same day or next day, have an ECV dropped off (same or different ECV doesn't matter) at CBR, and leave it with bell services when we leave. I am not sure if there is a vendor we can do that with. We've never rented offsite at Universal before.

Thanks,
Donna

Hi Donna,
We've stayed at the Royal our last 2 visits and Walker Mobility delivered to us with no problems. Not sure if Universal has a preferred list though, if they do, as with Disney I wouldn't give it too much weight as it is my understanding vendors "pay" to be on it regardless of the quality of service they provide. I'd recommend Walker personally.
Have a great vacation!

We are getting an ECV from a WDW vendor but they are delivering it at a timeshare, where they will leave it at the front desk. We are staying our last night at Royal Pacific but we are bringing the same ECV with us in a rental car. Universal hotels say you have to meet the vendor for the pickup and dropoff (at least this vendor, but I think all vendors.) Sooo... we have made an appointment when to have them meet us at the hotel. They will call us an hour before pickup to see if we will be on time, and then we will hand it to them. Hope this helps.

It's not a preferred vendor list, it's a featured vendor list - a few companies that pay Disney for the privilege of being able to use Bell Services as a transfer point for mobility equipment.

Universal isn't as overwhelmed as Disney was. You can rent from any company, and that company can drop off at and pick up from Royal Pacific 's Bell Services. Or you can call Meats for a wheelchair accessible taxi van and probably save money with one continuous rental.
