Caitlyn Jenner Halloween costume prompts outrage

Outraged? No. If you want to live in the spotlight you have to expect to me mocked. If you were not outraged by the media's treatment of our candidates and their children during the last elections why should I now be outraged by the treatment of Jenner?
 




I was shocked and unhappy when Cecil the lion was killed. That costume doesn't really faze me though but maybe it's because I expect such things.

For me, this all came to my attention after I saw on a teaser on our local news station about outrage over a Halloween costume. As I'm impatient and can't wait from 3pm to 11:22pm, I did a quick google search. Found this before the Caitlin costume.

After the debate on here over Cecil, I wanted to see what people thought.

Personally, both the Cait and dentist costume I would never buy nor wear, but I am not horrified by either of them. It's just a costume at the end of the day.

Meh. Yet another I mailed it in this year costume in poor taste. I won't be paying for that one either. A t shirt and a head off a stuffed toy lion for $100? Or is it a lion hand puppet. I can't tell from the picture. In any case way over priced.

The lion-killing dentist story is passé. By October nobody will even remember it. Anyone foolish enough to wear that costume will be unmercifully mocked by their friends, perhaps a bit for bad taste, but mostly for living in the past.

The Jenner story and costume has some staying power in the minds of fickle Americans.

Depends on who is at the party. Jenner and the Kardashians as SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO yesterday. The lion killing dentist would win hands down at any Halloween party I've ever been to.

I'm waiting for the costume of a lion holding a dentist's severed head.

It's not passé with those I know. I do think that people will care less and less about both stories as time goes by though. I only hope that people learn something from both.
 
the simple ideals are the best, I bet the designer of costume is making some serious money
 
I think we, as a society, have become way too sensitive. Caityn Jenner loves publicity and the money.

It pays to be offended. Until we start being offended by the perpetually offended we'll continue in this direction. It's sad.
