Is it a problem to add a child to a room-only reservation?

We originally booked at HRH for me, dh, and ds15. (2 queen garden view.) Since ds18 will be away at college leaving ds15 as the only kid, we invited a cousin along too. I tried calling to add another child (16) but the agent tried for a while, then put me on hold a while, then finally asked me to call back tomorrow.:confused3

Am I the only one thinking this is so strange? We booked with a 35% off PIN that came via post card. Now I'm worried we'll lose our good rate or there will be some issue.:scared: I already made plans with my SIL/BIL and niece. I'd hate to disappoint her. I didn't think it would be a big deal since the room sleeps 4 anyway. We only booked this trip for the great hotel discount and there's no way dh could stand not staying onsite.

I'm holding off buying another plane ticket just in case.

Thanks!!

No problem. They will ask at check in for the names and ages. You are perfectly fine.

peeps add on when they check in frequently.
as long as the number in the room is not over 5 people, you will be fine.

your room cost with the pin, will not be changed.
you are good to go.

if you are within 2 months out of this trip, the only thing that will shock you wll be the airfare costs...

Yes and what makes it expensive is trying to keep her on the same flights as us.($500+) Both of our flights have literally tripled since we booked.
I can get $76 RT on Frontier but she would have to sit at MCO from 8am until 6:30pm until we arrive and then leave early in the am on the day we fly home. (We depart 3pm.) Being only 16 she can't just go hang out at the hotel without an adult.
The flight right before ours arrives is $200 less than ours. It would give her a 2 hr wait but she's so happy to be going she doesn't mind and says she can get some homework done.
