If we would have gotten the dining plan, we still would have had to pay oop for 5 or 6 snacks each day, so the cost of that was also added into what we would have paid with the DDP. Over 10 days that's about $250 extra. We need to eat a little something every two to three hours.

The total cost for us to eat the way we need to eat with the dining plan would have been close to $1350.

We actually ate for a bit over $700
