Hello All. At last it is sooo nearly 'time'. I have done online check in, printed our boarding passes and we are checked in at the Radisson Blu Hotel at Manchester airport. They have finished the refurbishments which were only part done last time we were here. The rooms are lovely. Kids have got a twin room and we have got a queen double with a door we can open between them. We got a runway view too :)
 
Congratulations. I'm so happy that its all happening for you. I love that part of the holiday where things start to reach fever pitch. Enjoy every minute of it.

Have a fantastic holiday. 8 more sleeps for us, so we will overlap. Trying to keep a lid on my excitement for the time being but finding it difficult. I think one of the best feelings is finishing your last day at work knowing you aren't coming back for over three weeks.

Well we are here. And it has rained nearly none stop :( Still. HRH is a gorgeous hotel. DS has loaned one of the flash guitars and is in heaven. Express pass is wonderful, queuing at WDW is going to be a come down for sure!!!! Escape from Gringots is awesome, best ride I've been on for years :) Anyone staying at the Manchester airport Radisson they have finished the room refurbs and it is gorgeous even better than before. Oh. And I have eaten more food in two days than I would normally eat in a week. I shall be on rations for two months to recover when we get home. The HRH gym is a good one though, excellent equipment something for everyone. Now. Where is that Florida sunshine........
 
Hope the sun shines soon, we have seen enough rain here.
Key West forcast is 89 + sunshine + cold drinks so looks good for us for now.
 
Hope the weather picks up, we will be there in two weeks.

Have been reading about the awful weather atm. It is meant to pick up from tomorrow as the low pressure moves - so fingers crossed. I know August is a gamble with it being hurricane season and the usual afternoon storms - but this has been much more prolonged and some people have even been saying it's cold! :headache:

I've been checking the wait times for US/IoA today - not too bad at all even WWOHP rides - perhaps it's the rain that's done it!

Anyway, enjoy - sending you some..... :sunny:.

The weather is supposed to be back to normal tomorrow. There's been a lot of rain over the past 4-5 days and yesterday and today were cooler, but still warm enough to wear shorts and sleeveless tops. The main difference has been that the rain has been starting early in the day - like mid morning type of early.

Looks like anyone arriving now has missed the worst of it though. :)
 
Fingers crossed then. We have been seven times in August and have had it this wet before but never this cool. It did dry up later this afternoon but it's not nice enough for me to swim which I never expected in August.

It's looking good today. Most of the rain is to the north and it's quite warm outside already. Have a great day :)
 
Yep boiling today absolutely more like what we are used to here in August. The normal afternoon showers are nice when most of the day is like this :)
 
Glad weather is picking up,, from what I hear they are saying weather should be returning back to normal Florida patterns from today..
 
Yay - I've heard it's back to normal for now.

Noticed the wait times had increased today on the TP app!

Two more sleeps :mickeyjum:tigger::dumbo: - so my little DD told me tonight! Very excited in this house right now.

Scooby - hope you've managed your swim!
