does annone have anny recent expericence with them flying from gatwick to Orlando
and then mostly do u get a snack or is it better to buy something at schiphol or gatwick to take with me

They will feed you, but as with all airlines, it's always best to take your own snacks - the food will be questionable.

We flew LGW to MCO last month. Planes are getting a bit tired and the food is standard BA fare (chicken curry variant or vegetarian pasta for main meal and for the "snack" it was a sandwich (chicken pesto). Wasnt great but I didnt have high expectations from experience.

We arrived back on Thursday. Last year we were lucky enough to be upgraded on both flights and the food was really lovely. This year the food was edible, but it's a plane not a gourmet restaurant. On the way out drink with a mini packet of pretzels, Sausage and Mash, vegetarian pasta or chicken with a roll and butter, salad, cheese and biscuits and a Lily O'Brien Chocolate Caramel Mousse (delicious), Sandwich with tea/ coffee before landing. Drinks served throughout. ON the way back Drink with a mini packet of snacks, Chicken with rice and veg/ cheesy pasta, Salad, roll and butter, cheese triangle and biscuits, Lily O'Brien Passion Fruit Posset and Croissant with jam box of raisins and cereal bar just before landing. Drinks throughout again.

Sorry OP for jumping on your post. Mrs TT this is very helpful! Can I ask what the drinks selection is like? Beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks?

I haven't flown BA before and it's been 4 years since I flew to the States so can't remember which drinks you usually get included.

Water (still and sparkling), coke, lemonade (can't remember the brand) etc, OJ, apple juice, tomato juice, red or white wine. Don't remember about beer as we don't drink it but DH thought that was on offer as well. Tea and coffee.
