That always is the case for me for the island. I can have fun over there but hardly ever go.
They are so good! I normally just get the ice cream and not the float but the floats nice because you don't have to worry about the ice cream melting.

The Time I Made Genie Cry

This part of the day was dedicated to all the shows that the Magic Kingdom had. Mostly because it was hot and why not enjoy getting off our feet and relax in AC.

So off we went to the tiki room. This was definitely the first wall I hit during the event. Getting so much done in the morning and the heat was not helping. The moment I sat down in the cool theater with the dim lighting made me ready for a little siesta. But that was not allowed so onward.

Once we got out it was almost time for the second viewing of festival of fantasy. And as much as I would have loved to stop to watch, everyone was already lined up because this time the Disney channel stars were part of the parade. So instead we headed over to another show, the hall of presidents.

We still had a bit till the next showing and we could somewhat see the parade from where we were sitting inside so it was a sing along to FoF as we waited.

When we got out of presidents we decided to take a leisurely boat ride down the river of America

I’m not all to sure when the last time I was on the riverboat. It fell under the “Ma’s favorite attraction she made her poor young children go on”

But now that I’m older I can understand why she took us on her “not so popular, favorite attractions”

Watch out for River Pirates

When we got on dry land we headed back to the desert, Agrabah here we come.

By the time we got to the line it was already roped off but lovely sloan was the character attendant. This NEVER happens and I would never ask a character attendant to open up the line. Kiss and I just walked passed and Sloan called us over and said she saved the last spot in line for us, “I could never turn you guys away”

Aladdin and Jasmine weren’t even out and the sun was crisping my shoulders nicely. All I wanted was to get out of the sun and under some shade.

“I have a sister in Japan and she would like to use her wish on a magic carpet so she can come back and visit.”

That was it Genie lost it, he pulled me into a hug and refused to let go. I also was 99.9% positive that I heard a couple sniffles coming from him.

I was literally all over the place, Agrabah is probably the only comfortable meet and greet I will ever have. I mean I once left my chicken nuggets on their set and had to go back for them. They don’t judge my scatterbrained self.

Once again I over stayed my welcome but everyone was having a good time and just laughing. Before leaving Genie suggested one last photo and came up with his own pose. At first I had no clue what he was doing, Sloan literally had to tell me what he wanted.

Just sending some love to the girl living in Japan

We adventured out of adventureland and off to fantasyland.

And I learned something too, something I never knew, on the steps of the palace.

First stop in fantasyland, Philharmagic!

I’m obsessed with the be our guest smell the release at you, cringe for the moment you get splashed with water, and sing along to all the classic music

I was in need of some water so we stopped at Pinocchio’s for some ice water.

While we were waiting in line the poor cm was just trying to make a magical moment and give a family a free chocolate cake. They kept on refusing and we were lucky enough to be standing behind them. She tried once more on us and we accepted in a heartbeat. How can one deny free cake?!

But of course with getting free cake we got a “shouldn’t you be naveen?” comment. No he is my brother….it was probs more awkward for her. Sorry about it, but thanks for the cake!

Up next: We joined a party, a castle party!

The tiki room is my Pa's favorite and I couldn't sleep because I wanted to try to not take a nap at all for the event.
I just had a conversation with my mother how I like most of this things now that she dragged us to do as children.

Princess By Day Mermaid By Night

We had successfully finished 50% of the event and still going strong.

And what better way to celebrate then joining a castle party!

And how thrilling that moment will be when the prince of my dreams comes to me

But if I know you I know what you’ll do. You’ll love me at once the way you did once upon a dream

It’s time to set sail for adventure, an adventure that begins with…PIRATES!

Oh captain, I got her captain

I say captain, do you hear something? Do you think it could be your old friend the crocodile

But I believe in dreams!

There are journeys that are with you and your friends

seize the moment, let your fantasies and dreams set sail.

Discover a place where the fun never ends

At the end we took the dream with us wherever we go and headed to tomorrowland.

On to an attraction I haven’t done in years…stitch here we come

Not much to say other than we completed it

Next up was the Laugh Floor, mostly because Buddy Boil, he’s hilarious

Once entering the monster world I always fear of getting picked. I mean I wouldn’t combust and die, I just am more of the person who enjoys sitting back and watching.
I was laughing pretty good at this show. Buddy picked a guy who said his name was Chris Evans, then everyone caught on since he was wearing a captain America shirt.

Also the audience member who played Sully was on point!
We headed back to fantasyland, we were thinking of getting something for dinner but quickly hopped on the happiest cruise that ever sailed.

We headed back to Pinocchio’s for some dinner.

It was a happening place tonight. The line to order wasn’t all that bad it was trying to find a table that was the tricky part. We ended up going upstairs and finding one near the window.
Kiss got the Italian flatbread sub while I went with a children’s chicken nugget dinner.

This was the time when we figured out what we still needed to get done. I knew I wanted to watch wishes and thought it was at 10 like every other night on this trip. But I was wrong and it started at 9. There was no way I would be able or want to push through the crowds on the other side of the castle.
Once we were done eating we decided to change into comfier clothes…aka I changed into my PJs and it was the best decision ever! Once I got back to the resort I could just hop right into bed and pass out. I would totally suggest doing this for future 24 hour events.

There was a really crazy (yet beautiful) lightning storm and the breeze that came with it was perfect after how toasty it was all day.

Since we weren’t watching from main street, or my second favorite viewing by the liberty belle, we chose the 3rd best place, the beasts castle.

After Wishes I ran to meet Ariel because duh, we’re both mermaids.

Literally just 2 mermaids chatting about the latest clam gossip.

We chatted about my onesie and how I was living the best of both worlds by having both fins and legs. Ariel told me how she has a dad who can just change her when she needs too, we aren’t all the lucky Ariel.

Since we were near storybook circus we decided to get both barnstormer and dumbo knocked off of our list.

Kiss then told me how he has never been on the barnstormer before, like who are you?!

We headed back to fantasyland to have a story time with belle, another attraction kiss has never experienced. The wait in the cottage seemed like forever. So I rested in the fireplace…literally inside the fireplace.

Of course the wardrobe/cm refused to give me a part because I’m not a child.

However Kiss was chosen to be a knight

And then we were taken back to the day that belle and beast fell in love.

When Exhaustion Hits

We were almost complete with all the attractions in the park. We just had to finishing completing fantasyland and tomorrowland. So up next, tea cups!
One attraction I hardly ever do because the people I go with can’t handle spinning rides.
The teacups are literally the best for funny pictures

By the time we got off we were just in time to play in the rain. YAY! Not
It was sprinkling and we made a dash towards cosmic rays. A perfect time for a midnight snack of water and pickles from the topping bar (poor girl probs)

The little rain couldn’t stop us from completing our mission so onward to tomorrowland. SO MANY PEOPLE! I don’t know what they were giving away here but it seemed like EVERYONE was here.
We were thinking of doing people mover because that line moves fast but it was CRAZY long tonight. So instead we went to my other love CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS!
Last years 24 hour event me and alish started this little dance (if you can even call it that) to a great big beautiful tomorrow, so during every rotation we would do it, every time we went on it. She wasn’t here this time and kiss refused to join in and I was just so sad.

Afterwards we decided to tackle the people mover line that was already longer than the twist and turns, up until the astro orbiter line. It ended up not taking long at all really. Plus we had the Frozen sing a long version to keep us entertained.

Just kidding instead I jammed way too hard to Let it Go.
The people mover always ends way to fast. I just got comfortable can I go around a couple more times?!
We headed back to fantasyland because for some reason we couldn’t finish everything there before we left?

Since walking through the castle it was only appropriate to take a ride around the carousel.
I of course had to choose a native one and Kiss was just stuck with the horse next to it.

The last attraction we needed to finish in Fantasyland was peter pan and I was actually quite excited about seeing the new queue.
Off to Neverland we go!

The was one of the worst decisions of the night. Once we got past the portrait hall we hit the wall of people. It felt like we were at a standstill for forever. And of course we surrounded by annoying families.
Midway through the line I started having contact problems and regretted not packing my glasses.
The new queue was knew for me so I had no clue how long we had left and both kiss and I hit a wall. Complete zombies, barely no talking. Last year around the same 1-2am time, we hit a wall and pretty much ended up quitting with 1.5 hours left. I REFUSED to let that happen again. So we pushed on and got peter pans flight done.
There was only one place I knew of that could get us out of our funk

SOS in need of some caffeine

We ended up taking our starbs to the circus tent shop because I saw a few outlets earlier that morning and we just relaxed and if by rolling around on the floor is relaxing, then I relaxed. Just proof that exhausting was hitting and I can be a pretty fun person to hang out with.

After a couple minutes we were energized and ready to go at 3am.
We skipped down the storybook to tomorrowland walkway and I jumped from a 3 to a 9 on the scale of how energized I was.
Just one last time traveling to space

I was also at the 24-hour event with my friend - it was a fun girls' trip with no husbands and kids! We had to take a break in the afternoon but otherwise made it for the whole time. I keep looking for us in the background of your pics, but so far no luck! Love your Ariel PJ's!

I normally don't do that. I normally just get them when I actually buy food.
Carousel of progress is one of my all time favorites! Even if PM doesn't have a line I would still recommend it.
Its a cute new queue but it takes forever to get through it, however if it's super hot out I would suggest waiting in line to get out of the heat

27 HOURS OF BEING AWAKE

After Space Mountain we thought it would be the best idea to walk all the way back to Frontierland to ride Big Thunder one last time but before that we had to do haunted mansion.

On the way over there we stopped at the castle dance party. These are seriously life helping. Last year I thought it was dumb that they were hyping up the 3 different dance parties starting at 3am but let me tell you they help when you are hitting the wall.

We didn’t end up staying to long at the party before making our way to see the happy haunts

Then it was over to thunder to hopefully get a better ride experience than our last one. We sat closer to the back this time, so overall it was a great time.
We headed over to the frontierland dance party when Alish facetimed me. So we moved into the very crowded country bears so I could actually hear her.

We had a nice chat about our day, our time in agrabah and her life over in Japan.
Once she had to get back to work, we decided to hang out in the country bears and nap

I was slowly losing kiss. I thought maybe if we headed back to the castle party it would give him some energy. It kind of did but not for long.
We only had an hour left and I was going to make him stick it out. So our last moments in the Magic Kingdom was spent relaxing in the hub

At this point the one thing I learned is that it is ok when everyone in your party is sleeping and just wants to relax but now I had energy and Kiss was pooped. So I kept myself entertained by singing along to the castle dance party jams, people watching and taking pictures.

Around 5:30 we started making our way to town square because they finish off the party at the train station. Walking down main street was the most funniest sight to see. Everyone in the hub was partying and having a good time, while people further down main street and town square were trying their best to keep their eyes open. I found all of Kiss’s people!

Only 15 minutes until we completed the full 24 hours!

At this time to move it shake it float and crew made it’s way down main street and stopped in front of the train station.
The characters all come out in there PJs to send us off on our…back to our beds.

And that’s it folks we successfully completed all 24 hours!
I spent the last 24 hours in the magic kingdom, no leaving, no sleeping. I made it through the heat, crowds and rain. I did every attraction the magic kingdom has to offer!
I’ve enjoyed the past 2 24 hour events that I’m already looking forward to the next one they do.

Next part was hoping we didn’t have to wait long for a bus. And just our luck was that the bus was waiting for us. The only downfall was that we had to stand. But I would rather stand and get back quicker than wait for a bus so I can sit. It could have been how little of sleep I was running on but Kiss and I were getting a kick out of me pretending to be a swinging thug from FoF, when I tried to hold on all the way back to Movies. When we finally got back it was like the bus unloaded a group full of zombies.

The sky’s awake, so I’m awake, so we have to play!

After being up for 27 hours it was WONDERFUL to just pass right on out!

That Time I Got Cut Off

After getting home so early this morning I ended up only taking a little nap. It was our last full day and I didn’t really want to sleep it away. So instead I woke up around 11:30ish, I decided if I wanted to be lazy I could do that at the pool and work on my tan.

It was a toasty day out, so I had to run quickly to the pool because my feet were being burnt off, jump in the pool, then lay out till I dried, and repeat.

I spent about 1.5-2 hours at the pool then decided to grab some lunch. Just the plain classic nacho

I made my way back to the room around 2 to find kiss still passed out. So I watched some tv and passed out again myself. I guess 5 hours just wasn't enough.

At 4:30 I woke up to ma calling me, she was just checking up on how our fun eventful day went and what we were doing on our last day. Once finishing the call with Ma I then decided it would probably be best if I started to get ready for the night.

We headed to the bus stop a little after 6 and of course there were like 20 million studios and Epcot busses and none for magic kingdom. Finally a bus came around 6:30.

Before we headed to the fort we made a quick stop to the poly. My sister, Danielle, wanted the new Polynesian tiki god statue and I was the kind sister who was able to get it for her (until she could pay me back). While I was cashing out the CM at the register told me how she liked my boots and she wears hers all the time. Little does she know that I purchased them for last years 24 hour event when I was woody and that was the last time I wore them.
With Tiki man purchased we were off to the fort.

I don’t know if this place could get anymore better

About a week before we came down I got a message from Katt asking me if Kiss and I wanted to join her and some friends at hoop. Clearly if anyone knows me Hoop is one of my FAVORITE things and it would be a perfect way to end our trip. Plus the CM discount is always super nice.

She was actually staying at Fort wilderness this weekend so we met up at pioneer hall.

It was a big group tonight, We had Katt, her friend who came down to visit Paige, coworkers Teegan, kara, and abby, and a move it, shake it host and his friend.

It was time to get our table, chow down on some delicious food and watch an entertaining show.

And then sixbits runs out on stage and sings “do you wanna build a snowman?” and you’ve realized frozen has taken over enough, leave hoop alone!

While the show was super great our waitress was a little not so great. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt with me asking for things. I was grateful and I think everyone else at the table was grateful when I asked her to bring mac and cheese and she brought it. However the whole all you care to drink seemed to stop after one sangria. Cutting you off sam! I also tried to ask for just sprite as well and nothing! No liquids whatsoever. I decided to just give up after the 3rd time asking and I watched sadly as everyone else was giving more drinks.

So I decided to eat my feelings and eat most of the strawberry shortcake.

And that was that
