Whats everybody payin for airfare?

$840 r/t non stop for the 3 of us during our April school vacation in Boston.....this was through googleflights on JetBlue. :yay::yay::yay:
I'm still wondering what happened that morning when the flights went on sale. :sad2::sad2::sad2:
The current price for my 3 seats is $3,810. :teacher: :thanks:

Good luck all,
Joe

I don't know what happened the day flights went on sale but my same 2 tickets on Jetblue right now is a little over 2500....crazy

Probably a time of higher demand and they're doing the old "what the market will bear" pricing thing. Likely because it's March Break-Easter time if I'm reading your counter correctly. Our flights for November did the same thing. Only a few seats left on a couple of our flights in our itinerary so the prices are sky-high!

I just booked the 3 of us for January 2016, Philly to Orlando for $ 372 total cost, nonstop on Southwest. This is the cheapest I've ever paid in 18 years of flying!

I paid $138 for a flight from Flint, Mi to Orlando on Southwest. For the trip home I'm flying into Grand Rapids, and paid $111. Flying into MCO on October 9 and out on October 13.

Grand Rapids is my home airport, but flights from there to Orlando are never non-stop, and the flight from Flint is. Also, flights to Orlando from Grand Rapids were much more expensive. Luckily Flint is only 90 minutes away.

Just under $1000 (with tax) Jet Blue 4 people round trip Reagan to MCO no stops. Cheapest I could find for our dates.

Thanks to this thread I went on SW and checked my September flights. They went from 79 each way to 49 each way. Chicago to Orlando. I just got a $180 credit that will pay for my flight for the Princess Half!

Just booked Southwest today, Dallas to Orlando for $118.00 roundtrip, mid-December.

Wasn't planning on going then, but couldn't pass it up!

Houston to Orlando $0.00 X 4, Taxes $11.20 x 4, Early bird $25 x 4 = $144.80 total!!! Love the southwest card! 3 of the flights were free, one flight was my Companion Pass person who flies free wherever I go all year! This will be the 4 trip this year all free (a total of 11 flights total)

We're going mid November, flying Southwest PHL to MCO for 9299 points round trip pp at times that work great for us. Initially, it was a little over 11,000 points per person, but, I kept checking every day or so and sure enough a little after midnight one night same flights were less points......so I just went in and did the changes and got about 3,500 points refunded to my RR account. Gotta love Southwest!! We haven't paid for a flight in over 5 years!!!!

I am signed up for email fare alerts from BestFares.com, which is how I heard about the latest sale and why I am going in December.

Going up for the first weekend of Food and Wine. FLL to MCO $46 round trip on spirit, including the big front seat. Cheaper than driving, so why not? As a side note, the tickets were $110 online so I drove to the airport yesterday and saved $64. Yay me!

We are going at the end of Jan and paid 884 for 4 PVD to MCO nonstop of SWA. I could have gotten it down more but I liked the times of my flights so they weren't the cheapest but I am happy. Originally flights were 936 so I am happy. Last year for the same time it was 864 close to the same.

196$ round trip x 2 on Jet Blue Sept 22 - October 6 (new baggage fees included in that price) LGA to MCO

I haven't booked yet but right now we are looking at $620/each from Fargo ND to MCO in February.

I'm in Canada and we paid about $2000 for 4 of us, return, Ottawa to Orlando.

Flying out of Kansas City. $613.60 for three of us, plus a lap child, including checked bags and seat assignments, on Spirit Airlines (It's cheaper when go to the airport to buy your tickets). So about $205/person
We do have to drive 2 hours to get to the airport, but my parents live 30 minutes away from it, so we'll stay with one of them before and after.
The airport closer to us would be about twice as much with 2 stops.
I considered Spirit out of KCI but there are no non stops and, with connections, the total time is between 5:30 and 9 hours, versus 2:45-3:00 non stop on SWA. The tickets for myself and my 7 year old at Thanksgiving week is $360 a piece (the price has dropped since purchase, so we have a $41 credit a piece).

Allegiant last Week for Oct was $62.50 and $67.00. Then I added the protection to change dates fro $12.50 each at $100.
The luggage @ 1 each way for Four of us $176, the final total was $794 for Sanford.
I am thinking of adding an extra bag for the way home. $22
