What percentage of RVers use the comfort stations? We are renting a travel trailer for The Fort in January and want to use the comfort stations instead of the trailer bath. With five of us, it will just be too crowded. How hectic are the showers early morning? Any suggestions for premium loop near showers? Thanks!

Not sure about premium loop but we used just the comfort stations at night and most of the time there was no wait...had to wait a few min sometimes

Tent loops the comfort stations are packed and RV loops vary. We stayed in the 1800 loop with our RV and used the showers about 1/2 the time and often it was empty. Time of year and time of day are your biggest factors.

When its just me an Caren, the only time we use the comfort stations are for any needed laundry. If its Caren, the kids, and I then they get used more since one shower is not enough.

Most of January isn't packed at FW. The full, preferred and premium loops comfort stations should be easy to get into.

We were in 1400 end of Feb/First of March and had no issues getting in to shower.

Thanks for the replies. Guess I need to look over the maps for specific locations in the premium loops near comfort stations. I always think visiting the "latrine" makes it feel more like camping!

Bathing in the lake makes me feel like camping. I suppose not such a good idea to do at Disney.

We nearly always stay in 100 loop and never use the comfort stations - would think they would be less busy in January when most families with children are in school.

1400 the comfort station was right there. maybe a two minute walk from our site, and no more than 5 min from the furthest point.

We had a 25 night stay in July/August in the 800 loop. I never waited for a shower and used them daily. My husband and boys sometimes had to wait for one as there were 4 showers and 4 of them so if they all went at once someone may have been occupying one or more.

We have stayed at the Fort in March, June, July, August and November. We have stayed in the 100, 200 and 900 loops. We always use the comfort stations and have always had minimal to no wait. I can not imagine that January would be more crowded. The comfort stations are always well maintained and clean.

I think a larger percentage of folks at the Fort in January are couples that use the bathrooms in their units. When our kids come to stay with us they use the comfort stations and I cant recall the last time they had to wait during that time of year.

We go end of January/early February with a pop-up. I've never had to wait for a shower. Sometimes I've had to wait for a sink to free up. We always shower at night if that matters, but I wouldn't worry about it.

In fact my wife and I wonder out loud when people are indeed showering since the comfort stations are often so empty!

We tent camped over spring break in April this year and never had to wait. The only time I saw it really crowded was 1 a.m., and then a few times early in the morning before the rush to the parks, but it was never so bad that we had to wait a long time.

There are 4 of us and have never had a problem showering at the comfort stations. We prefer to use the CS instead of the RV for 2 reasons 1) it is quicker to get ready for the fun day at the parks and 2) they have more room than my TT.

Thanks for the replies. All great information. Looks like we shouldn't gave a problem using the comfort statons and I will just prioritize close proximity to one when requesting our loop location.

We were in a premium loop and the showers were great!! I was worried that they would be crazy in the am, but that was not the case.
