Hey am I correct in understanding that the DAS works for all FP+ rides & shows? I just read somewhere that the DAS is not accepted / doesn't work at the Disney Junior show.

I know that it dose not work at fire works and parades at the magic kingdom not sure about Disney junior

I believe officially there must be both standby and FP+ to use the DAS. That's why DAS doesn't work for fireworks or parades because while there is FP+ there is no official standby for those. DAS does work at some shows, I don't know specifically about Disney Jr.; when DAS works for shows it's basically like a reservation for the next show time, unlike rides where you may return anytime after x:xx.

Enjoy your vacation!

what about meet and greet and special meet and greet at MMNSHP? can we use it for those wait line?

:( with a autism kids i guess i have to say goodbye to meet jack and sally he will not tolerate all that wait time

I have been told that the DAS can be used for the parties just like it can be used at the the extra magical hours

You can use it for meet and great that have a fast pass so Anna and Elsa you can use it

I would love to know definitely as we go end of Sept. You need to have a FP+ though. I don't see how it would work? Hope I'm wrong.

You could have a place holder in line?? Not ideal and likely hard to pull off / splitting people up, but worst comes to worst. I think we'll skip them unless you can use the DAS. :(

You can use DAS at regular meet and greets that have both standby and FP+ queues. So generally the inside locations (Anna & Elsa, etc.) but not usually the ones around World Showcase for example.

DAS is not available for use at all during the hard-ticket parties; the previous GAC was not, either. There are no FP+ lines in use during the parties and therefore no alternate entrance available.

Enjoy your vacation!

- Since there is no FP+ line, I have never seen the ability to use GAC or DAS during a party - we do 2 MNSSHP each year for last 10 years and MVMCP every couple years.

- You can not use the DAS for any of the special Meet & Greets at parties and no Meet & Greets during normal hours that do not have FP+. So all those out in the park like Alice, White Rabbit, Buzz & Woody, Mary Poppins etc.

- Jack & Sally can be very long. We got there about 5-5:30 and got in line. Once they came out just after 7 we waited about another 45 minutes. I brought a towel with me so DS could sit on the ground while we waited. He was a real trooper but he really wanted to see Jack. They were awesome! The other very long lines are Jack Sparrow and the 7 Dwarfs.

- The queue is outside in the wide open so you could have someone wait in line and ask the CMs if kids can join at last turn. We saw Jack aka Sandy Claws at the Christmas party. With permission from CM other DS and DD got in line and had DS join them about two turns out. We never left the area and CM could see that we were waiting for the time to enter.

So if there is no DAS card how is someone in a wheel chair going to ride things like space mountin or the ones with stairs also what do parents do when they have a small child that can not ride. I was told that there is always assess to rides you just have to ask for it after hours and each ride handles it differently at space they wrote a time to come back at 7dmt and Peter Pan they let me walk on there was only a 20 minute wait but I was close to my limit at that time I do know of one other person that did mnshp last year with her DAS card

the DAS does work with the Disney Junior Show...just remember though with the shows you still have to wait in line to get in a good spot. So like the Disney Jr show you can get a return time for the next show which will then put you in the FP line for the next show. When its your turn to return you would need to get into the FP line. They usually start seating about 5 minutes prior to show time and the later you get the farther back in the show you will sit. If that doesn't matter to you, you could just spend time shopping in the shops a crossed the way and then head to the line when you see them starting to seat the show.

You don't need a DAS for wheelchair access or to avoid stairs.

I'm not sure what you are asking about the parent with small child who can't ride -- that presumably would be a Rider Swap. I honestly don't know if those are utilized during parties.

Admittedly, I haven't attended a party, but it's my understanding that the queues for rides are pretty short if not walk-on during party hours. Most people want to see the special character meets, and those are not set-up for DAS. Even during regular daily park hours, not every attraction at the parks accepts DAS - only those with both standby and FP+ queues.

Enjoy your vacation!

fantastic. Thank you for the 411.

no I was saying that at the prty if some one in a wheel chair wanted to go on a ride they would have to accommodate them just like if someone had a child too small to ride they would accommodate them with a rider swap and they use the fast pass line just like the person with the DAS card use the fast pass line

99% sure we did RS at MNSSHP years ago.

IDK. I really don't think there's any need to utilize the DAS because the lines are short enough that they aren't warranted. I don't recall ever waiting in any lines for MNSSP more than 10 mins tops.

They currently make you wait regardless of your DAS in a lot of long character lines. *shrug*
