Anyone else having trouble booking WDW Disney Resorts for 2016 through Australia hotels.com?

Hi All,
I'm excited to find this forum!! I'm loving reading up on everyone's posts and didn't know there was an Australian specific site.
I'm currently planning my January 2016 trip and I am having trouble booking Disney specific Resorts through the Australian hotels.com. ANY date I try comes up saying no dates available however, when I try December 2015 this shows up and even more frustrating is that if I try the US and UK hotels.com the dates I want do show up as available. I have tried nearly every single Disney hotel with different dates in 2016 and all show up as unavailable so they haven't released dates yet? It's extremely frustrating because it's available on 'outside' Australia sites and because I have tried to called hotels.com twice about this but they are absolutely NO help and don't understand the issue.
I want to use this site because I have free night rewards and can save myself a few hundred $$ and used hotels.com with absolutely no trouble with my WDW trip last year in November.
I just wanted to know if anyone else is having trouble with this, if they know when this will be available and/or how they have gotten around it?
I am getting anxious about booking as I know hotels go soooo fast at WDW even though we are still 6 months out - also because I want to start booking our ADR's

I booked for February but I rang WDW direct. Mainly because I needed 5 rooms. I'm not sure when the rooms will be available on your site, it should be soon as they are now available on WDW online. Good luck.

Hi thank you for your fast replies. I understand I can book through Disney however, I would strongly like to use my Australian login through hotels.com as I have rewards through this and I will be saving a few hundred dollars which I would much rather put towards park tickets and souvenirs. Any information or if anyone was in the same boat as me would be appreciated!!!

These hotels are probably not offered on the hotels.com AU site and that's why they're not there.
I wouldn't count on them being available for your dates on there if they're not showing at all.

Not hotel.com but you could try Orbitz as well and pick up $ savings in rewards instead if they are on offer. It does sound like hotel.com aus is not offering them at your times this year. Have you tried seeing if they are available at any totally different time (as a test)?

Aussie Wendy - hi thanks for your reply. yes I have tried all other dates through to August 2016 and over 10 Disney specific hotels just as a test and all come up as unavailable. I then go onto the U.S. Hotels.com and they show up straight away as available to book.
The only 'helpful' information Aust hotels.com gave me when I called them was to create an American hotels.com account and book it through that way, as those dates and hotels show up completely fine when choosing the American hotels.com site. I would loose 8 days of rewards I have already clocked up which is frustrating as I get 1 free night every 10 nights I books. I have used Aust hotels.com for the past 5 years for all my hotel bookings and have never had trouble booking Disney or any other hotel, granted I always booked within the same calendar year and this is th efforts time booking outside of that.
I guess my next question is what is the latest I should wait to book for January 2016 then? Considering I want to book ADRs for hard to get restaurants ie. Be our guest and sci fi? I guess I just want advice on when I should bite the bullet and either book direct Through Disney or make the American hotels.com account and do it that way. Any advice appreciated and if anyone wants to try looking on the Aust hotels.com for me and seeing what I mean feel free... All so very frustrating when all I want to do is save myself a little money to spend on park tickets instead!
