What is a stretcher rate? Also, managers reception is just chips and salsa right? We use Hilton points often. One of our favorites is Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista SOUTH. The points are lower and we've gotten stretchers rates too. Very good full cooked to order breakfast and managers reception included. Great suites, only a few years old. Door to Park parking lots is about 10 minutes or so and you don't have to get on highway or go through DTD. Publix across the street. Plenty of eats around and the hotel restaurant at dinner not bad. Was just there in May, stay a couple times a year and once was 9 days with 5 adults.

We are looking at a spring break trip and want to use hilton points. We want our points to go as far as possible. With that being said, we don't mind driving a little ways but would really like to avoid extreme traffic areas for a hotel. Any suggestions?
We are looking at going to Disney for 7 days. We do have a lot of points but they go quickly. During spring break the point system is very high. I'm trying to find something that is around 30,000 points. We get 1 night free for every 5 nights. I would love to stay at bonnet creek but it's usually 60,000 points a night that time of year. What are you looking to do in Orlando and for how many nights?
I love the Hilton Bonnet Creek, but Parc Soleil and HGV SeaWord are great too.
At the lower end, I really like the Homewood Suites as well.

I was looking at embassy suites south also but for my dates it is 40000 points for all nights but 2 and those are 30000. Of course 1 night is no points because of the length of stay. My other option is homewood suites international drive for 30000 per night but I'm concerned about traffic. We've stayed there once before and it was horrible. We are diamond members also.Yeah the top ones and close to parks are high. I just looked for our spring break next year and already we need to use our Diamond Guarantee for Hilton Bonnet Creek. DTD Hilton is sold out. The DTD Doubletree is 41,500 per night, Embassy or Homewood LBV is 33,200 and the Embassy Suites LBV South is only 24,900. I think that's a huge value.

Does anyone know that if you stay on points do they still put a hold on your credit card?
