Can you get married at AKL?

I'm sure I saw a wedding a few years ago at the animal kingdom lodge but now that I'm online looking at planning a wedding it's not coming up as an option.
Can you still get married there?

No, it has been many, many years since that was an option, and from what I heard, they only did a couple before they realized there were too many logistical nightmares to make it feasible. Lots of couples do bridal portraits there! Also, you CAN get married at Animal Kingdom park.

that's a shame, it's such a wonderful resort and we absolutely love it!

It is turning into the worlds fastest vow renewal or the furthest away from the wedding reception anyway as I just found out the the USA wont like my birth certificate (long story it's a Scottish certificate but I changed my name so the registrar general withdrew my old one and issued a new one in my old name but there's no proof that my name was changed officially and I can't get a copy of the old certificate as legally it never existed - the scottish system is weird for changing names).

I don't know wether to do a ceremony in the USA or wether we should just have a reception. My childhood dream of a disney wedding is slowly dissolving!

You don't need your birth certificate to get a marriage license in Florida. All you need is your passport.

Is it just the Wishes option that allows you to marry at Animal Kingdom?? I'm not doing a wishes wedding, would only be escape or memories.

Correct. Memories and Escape have a very limited selection of venues for the ceremony. They added Canada at Epcot to Escape a few years ago, but that's the only in-park Escape ceremony venue.

What are the the locations for ceremonies at AK? I thought there was only reception options there.. News to me!
