Cheapest days to stay onsite

With my family of six, staying onsite is not in the budget. However, I'm thinking of taking a trip in Nov/Dec for a couple days with just my DH. We've never done DL alone. Is there a way to check onsite hotel rates based on flexible dates? Some hotels will have a calendar that makes it easy to see when it is cheapest. I haven't seen that but thought I'd ask just in case I'm missing something.

I'm not sure of sites that would list prices per day, but generally on site prices go up for weekends. I would suggest playing around with dates, also try a couple of 3rd party booking sites (I use Orbitz for Disney hotels, managed a 20% discount for our trip). The more you look the better you understand pricing, and the quicker you can react when you see a good deal.

On site is awesome, all 3 hotels are great, pricing is pretty fair for what you get from each. PPH is the cheapest and feels it, kinda like a standard hotel with Disney theming, but still a really nice place to stay with the added perk of EMH and quality Disney service. DLH has wonderful theming and is, of course, the original. GCH is subdued and luxurious and a killer location, but the price brings tears to the eyes and trauma to the credit card!

It is available like that with the AP rates (only where they are available), but not on the regular site.

Thank you for the comments. We are thinking of AP's this year but won't have them (and access to the AP rates) until later. I'll keep playing around with dates.

November and December can be expensive if you're looking at dates close to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.

Look for Monday - Thursdays. Look around the Monday AFTER Halloween (11/2), excluding 11/11, through the Thursday BEFORE Thanksgiving week (11/19). Then the Monday AFTER Thanksgiving (11/30) through the Thursday BEFORE the week before Christmas (12/17). It's a pretty small window!

BFF got a good AP rate @ DLH for the first week of December 2014, but she booked it 4 months in advance.

Good Luck!

To book AP rates without an activated AP you'll have to call Disney anyway. Why not call and ask if they can check for the dates with the lowest rates.
