Love your dresses. I think both are perfect for you. And HELLO on the belt! I get it! I have that same issue. My hubby laughs at me because I can't wear heels well either. I have to get the short fat heels if I want to consider it.
And that's stretching it.

Hopefully I've got this updating thing fixed now.

Thank you! We haven't officially started to hire anyone, since we still need to make it official with Disney, but we're doing our research! :yay:

I actually have an update on the job front! I'll post it in a minute. The car is working out well so far, I just have to change out the headlight bulbs and we need new tires. We just can't afford the tires at the moment, so hopefully we can find a place that will let us do a payment plan on them. I'm waiting for him to get here before I do anything with them.

I actually just sent Michelle (our consultant) an email asking about the new structure, if we'd get to take advantage of it.

I know! I don't understand why they'd pair an included belt with a dress if it doesn't go all the way around it. :headache:

I can't wear heels at all. I walk kind of on the side of my foot, so I tend to roll my ankles a lot as is, so wearing heels is terrible and usually not possible for more than a couple minutes. DF and I went to a costume party once where I wore knee high heeled boots and I ended up having to take them off once we got to the party.

Moving to Florida, Part 6: The Return

Now I'm just rolling with it.

So, you guys know how I was waiting to hear from my application to extend my program and never did, so I went through Casting?

Yesterday, I was visiting a friend who's in town and I got an email from the CP saying that it was time for me to register for housing because of my extension. :eek:

So, basically, I got my extension and no one ever told me.

DF and I discussed it and we decided that because the CP does have a minimum required number of scheduled hours, it was better for me to accept the extension for right now, since I haven't received confirmation that I have a position waiting for me at the end of my program. The Casting person I spoke with agreed. So I've extended until January 4, and they said that I'll still be on the wait list for a regular position and that if one comes up, they'll slot me into it and I'll come off the program. I'm not going to be in housing anyway, so it'll all work out. Also, this means that I can theoretically stay in my apartment until August 9 instead of August 7, which will cut down on the hotel bill, since I was originally going to have to stay in one for three nights. Now it's just one. I'm waiting for confirmation on the actual departure date, since there's a discrepancy (my housing ID says 8/7, my paperwork says 8/9), but I'll be going to Access Control at MK in the first week of August to get my new ID.

So, that's what's going on now.

They did, but a weird one without housing. So they're moving in with a friend who lives in Clermont. I actually won't be able to stay in the apartment after the 7th. I confirmed that this afternoon. It's annoying, but oh well. Not much I can do about it :headache:

But yeah, at least I know for sure that I'll have a job!

The house isn't exactly "tidy" :lmao:

It could be worse, but between the three of us and everyone's bizarre schedules, it just gets cluttered easily.

Once you get moved into your apartment you are not going to know what to do with yourself! LOL

I do love my roommates, now that the crazy one has moved out and our friend moved in, but I'm just like "...I'm so done, I just want to be living with DF again."

And as for the celebrating, you can have the alcohol, I'll just get a slushie

I would have made the same choice as you - no worries about being capped and guaranteed hours is definitely the better option. I'm glad you have some job security going forward! Even if you do have to be out of the apartment when you thought.

Exactly. That was our thinking, especially combined with both Casting and housing independently of each other telling me that if a position opens up, I'll be slotted into it. So while it's kind of annoying, it's still a good thing!

And yes! Just seventeen days left! I'm so excited for it, too, and I really hope I'll be able to hold it together when he gets here. I believe his parents are going to be staying at the same hotel, but not sharing the room with us. His mom is fairly conservative (she's not at all fond of the fact that we live together "in sin", even though we're getting married), so they'd definitely be getting their own room. Which is good, because then we can cuddle with impunity :lovestruc

And now it's 13! He and his parents will be leaving Chicago on Thursday morning, and then they're staying in Arkansas for a few days before coming here. I think he said they're leaving next Friday.
