Tickets in CDN?

Sorry if this has been covered before but, given the sinking loonie, I am wondering if there are places in Canada that are cheaper for buying Disney and Universal tickets in CDN versus buying from UCT with the exchange rate. I do have a VISA that doesn't charge forex fees, but the 30+% exchange rate is a big enough kick in the teeth regardless. Even HST seems like it could be a bargain if I avoid the exchange rate!

If there's a reputable seller in Canada, I've never heard of it. The diving dollar does suck, though. I hear ya! :(

There are places where you can purchase your tickets in Canadian funds......like expedia.ca ..... but the exchange is built in. If you have a credit card that doesn't charge foreign exchange, that's probably your best bet combined with the discounts offered by Undercover Tourist.

I've heard that Disney stores in Canada no longer sell tickets in Canada, but back in the day when we had a couple of Disney stores here in Ottawa they sold tickets at face value. So a US$100 ticket was C$100. THAT was a great deal! Hardest part was catching them when they had ticket stock. They always sold out very quickly.

Anyone know if the few stores left in Canada still sell tickets?

Thanks, everyone! I thought maybe I had heard of tickets being sold through CAA or Flight Centre. I guess we will go with UCT.

CAA sells tickets at whatever price Disney sells them at. So if you don't want to deal with shipping, it's an option for you.

Hi
I just recently bought a ticket at CAA. South Mississauga Location.
I bought a single day ticket and had to say which park I wanted as they are grouping AK , DHS and Epcot at one price and MK at another price. MK is more expensive,
I collect Petro Points which I convert to CAA dollars and then use them to purchase tickets.
Hugs Mel

Do you or someone you know work at an employer that has membership in any discount programs (ie. WorkPerks, MemberPerks)?
I have membership in all three of these programs through my employer as well as my professional memberships. There is an organization called "Tickets at Work" that sells discounted WDW tix through these programs. We've purchased from them twice before at a significant savings.

So does CAA charge in USD? Or do they calculate the current exchange rate? Do they charge Disney's 6.5% FLA tax or the 13% HST?

If you are an Airmiles collector you can exchange airmiles for tickets. A 7 day adult ticket is 3400 miles. Once you are at WDW you can pay the difference and ad on ParkHoppers or Water Parks and More if you want to.

I could be wrong about this but I do believe you can even add you tickets to you magic band once you are at WDW.

For myself I don't find it worth it but if the dollar continues this downward trend I may cancel my park tickets from Disney and go this route. I just put $2,676.78 towards my trip and had to pay an extra $918.28 in exchange.

Given our exchange rate, Flightcentre.ca is probably the best place for Canadians to get tickets.

Looking for tickets for next March Break. The workperks deals seem to be the best - even compared to the Undercover Tourist link from Mousesavers. Currently, they only offer the 7-day or 10-day hopper passes. I have a couple questions for you:

1. It says the tickets will be delivered electronically. Have you done this since Fastpass+? Will it have a code to connect to MDE, or do you have to bring it to a ticket counter in Florida?

2. Do you know if these electronic tickets would be upgradeable? Ideally, I wanted 8-days.

Thanks :)
