EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

I'm thinking that instead of the LNLP maybe they would have a separate reserved Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party type thing & include two days of the Sampler Package entitlements.

Quick question about Party for the Senses....if we happen to get reserved seating tomorrow ( fingers crossed) and we have friends that have gen admission can we allow them to sit at our table while we wonder around or do they keep the reserved seating separate from gen admission? It's been awhile since we've been ..last time we went it was all gen admission.

call me a dreamer, but I am still holding out hope that some incarnation of the Premium Package will be offered by July 30th. my guess/dream/ideal is that they're cutting out the Late Night Live Party but still include the welcome gift bag & access to VIP dining areas where CMs bring your food from the booths. I don't mind that the VIP areas are available from M-Th since that's how I planned my trip anyway. if there's no LNLP then I would hope the price of the package would be reduced. maybe to keep it the same price they will include some kind of event just for package purchasers?? I think they're having logistics problems with the VIP areas now that there are booths in the Future World area this year. :confused3
many have heard from CMs that the package will be offered, so i'm hoping at least the parts that interest me will still be included.
My bet is the same price with less features. That seems to be the Disney way.

That will be difficult. To keep this from happening they tend to "patrol" the reserved seating areas and if you don't have a credential you get politely asked to move. The staff is pretty good about this after having "squatters" move in the first year to complaints from the paying guests.

I guess you could just pass the credentials back and forth, but there won't be any extra seats at the table and if they notice this I am not sure how they would respond. You do have some servers in the area patrolling and moving empty plates etc....

Cruising the webpage it looks like the only things still missing are the sampler and possibly the premium package.

Thank you ...I figured as much. Just thought it may be nice to offer to let them sit for a bit...I need to decide if we will go ahead and try for the reserved or just get gen admin along with them. :) Might not have to worry about it if I'm on hold for awhile though..lol That said I am super excited to finally go back for Food and Wine :) Weekend with out kids...woo hoo

I was thinking about the Sampler package...

I can see them making this an in the park purchase. I also think that if they do that way it will expire in one day.

Either way you are probably going to stand in a long line when get to the park. If you buy in advance then you will have to stand to pick up your credentials etc. (I somehow doubt this one will be a room delivery like the Premium package) So... it makes it easier on them if you just buy when you get there. Maybe the decision hasn't been made yet and that's why we have no info?

Still not seeing anything listed for the Parisian Afternoon on the Disney webpages ... although people were booking it yesterday. Still nothing listed though on what specific Saturdays its' available

I am wondering how the Sampler package will work too!
Does anyone know if you need to use all of the "entitlements" in ONE DAY?
Can we book tomorrow? TIA!

Unfortunately, nobody knows any of this. We don't even have any sort of official confirmation about the premium package.

To those (including myself) who have been looking for it, TIW has finally uploaded the booklet to their website.

http://tablesinwonderland.com/2015-food-wine-booklet/

This booklet has more information then the one I got via email. Reading it does make me think that maybe the Sampler package is a day of purchase "Limited number each day"

ANd you wonder why, if the CMs are right, Disney is once again failing to advertise the Premium Package. I don't think it sold NEAR as well as Disney wanted last year and this won't help (it's a fairly labor intensive package and I saw CMs standing around looking bored a lot :) )

I won't be doing the premium package this year because a lot of the value of having it came from use of the premium service areas - and checking in on a Tuesday through Wednesday you had to jump through hoops to get them to cover the second Monday and Tuesday. They said it would be a week, but they only wanted to cover the calendar week you checked in. This year the only day I'd be able to use the areas would be a single Monday. And it's not the week I check in, don't want to try jumping through those hoops again.

I actually think that if they do this, it will be much clearer that you are buying the week of "X" not "a week" So in other words if you purchased it for the week of 10/5 you could only use it that week regardless of when you got there, get there on Wednesday and you get Wed and Thur, no carryover. I think this is what they meant to do last year and then screwed up the wording and training so they had to deal with the 'hoops'

I have a question about the "Culinary Adventures in Signature Dining". Are these events mainly focused on wine or is the food also a big component? My husband doesn't drink wine. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the cost for the two of us, if one of us isn't drinking the wine. I'm having a difficult time finding any reviews of these events.

We did the Premium Package, last year. We checked in on a Thursday, staying until Thursday of the next week. Our credentials that were valid for only that night were in our Premium Package goodies at check in. We were able to get our credentials for the following week at the front desk of the YC, beginning on Sunday of the following week. We were told that the tags weren't distributed until the week they were valid. This was towards the end of the festival, so maybe they had it more streamlined, by then.

In the "terms and conditions" part my CM said something about not wearing tank tops. That sounds odd but this is new to me, am I going to be asked to leave my culinary demo if I wear a tank top to the park that day?

That usually pertains to men, for more resort casual bookings.

I got an odd disclosure for my Parisian Breakfast booking: Event may be canceled due to inclement weather. This thing has been indoors in the past. Wonder if they are going to put some tables outside in front of Chefs de France to allow more people to book?? It could be done since this is over before World Showcase opens...

Right, I would be interested in it, but we're arriving on a Tuesday and leaving the following Tuesday. Planning full days at Epcot on Wednesday and the folioing Monday with partial days in between, so if it's for a calendar week, it would not be worthwhile. I also heard the package wine was not worth it. I'm still interested to see what they come up with if they even do the package. TIW doesn't list it. Can't rely on what the CMs told me when I called yesterday.

Is (was) there no pre booking opportunities for AP holders? Just Visa, TIW, and DVC? Has there been in the past?

Prebooking for just the seminars: Mixology, Beverage & Culinary Demos opened last Friday 7/24 for AP holders as well as TIW & DVC members.

If it is a day of purchase that will be insane. Where would you purchase it? Guest Relations? Festival Center? What time would you have to get in line? WS doesn't open until 11AM. There are a lot of variables for day of purchase. Has there been a day of purchase for a special event in the past?
