Do you eat Clif bars?
If so, which ones do you buy?
(I'm listing the basics the stores sell by me, because there's more flavors than I knew existed)
*multiple choice

*I eat these all the time when softball season is in full gear.
When I start getting my last 2 I start to panic and have to go buy more.
I love them!!!! :goodvibes:thumbsup2
The flavors I buy are:
Peanut Butter
White Chocolate Macademia Nut
Chocolate Chip
Blueberry Crisp
Chocolate Brownie
Peanut Toffee Buzz

Don't eat them. I don't care for the aftertaste nor the filmy feeling in your mouth after eating one.

I don't really care for the nutrition profile of them. I want a protein bar that is relatively low net carb (preferably under 16g), has at least 5g of fiber, at least 15g of protein, and is under 200 calories. For the calories in one Clif bar, I could have a Quest bar with a small piece of fruit or 16oz of unsweetened almond milk. More food = happy me.

I buy the club pack at Costco, and the two flavors it has are Choco Chip and Peanut Butter. Both are great.

I don't eat them (unless vacationing, they are a great for portability) but my DS does. Chocolate Chip is his choice. I think he got hooked on them as a Sophomore during swim season/water polo

Not a fan of how they taste, like chewy ground up vitamins. :crazy2:

I prefer Luna bars. Chocolate Dipped Coconut, Chocolate Peppermint Stick, and Lemonzest are my favorites.

I've never tried them. Being diabetic I don't need the carbs.

I don't like them / I don't buy them.

We keep Quest Bars on hand for emergency when we really need a quick bite to go, bu t really no bar is healthy. I make homemade Larabars and keep them in the freezer and those are a much better choice (just nuts, dates, dried unsweetened fruit).

This, the all around profile and taste for a Quest bar is better IMO. I keep them on hand to carry with me when I'm out and about to stop a fast food stop for lunch. Have one of those and then maybe a yogurt and nuts or fruit when I get home. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is a great alternative to actual cookie dough. :)

I remember a coworker said that Luna bars are just Clif bars that taste better. They are smaller though, so if calorie count is important, a Clif Bar packs more calories for the same price.

They're all made locally around here. They haven't sold out like PowerBar did with Nestlé. Basically that eventually ended up with Nestlé closing shop in Berkeley, moving HQ to their main office in Glendale (Glendale has the HQ of WDI BTW) and moving all production to cheaper places. Apparently Nestlé sold off PowerBar to another company.

I have never heard of them either. It doesn't sound like I'm missing to much

You probably walk by them every time you check out at the grocery store. They are usually with the chewing gum and tabloids at the checkstand.

But no, you aren't missing anything. My kids used to take them in their lunch when they were in school. They look like particle board, and their taste is what I would expect particle board to taste like.
