Read on another thread last night but can't remember which one! I believe the dates begin Nov. 7th maybe through Jan. 2 or 3rd. Sorry I can't be positive on that...just know they'll be shining bright during our stay! 
Marking a "bucket list" item off with my first visit to DW during the Christmas season!

How It All Began
This stunning spectacle started modestly in Arkansas as a single home's annual display. Every year, Jennings Osborne and his family set up an elaborate collection of holiday lights. Over time, the collection of lights grew and grew... and grew! In 1995, the Osborne family decided to share their magic with the world. Walt Disney World Resort happily offered to become the new permanent home for this exceptional exhibition of holiday cheer.

Agreed we went for Christmas 2012 and it was soooo busy but amazing. It was so nice to site on a bench and watch the lights and listen to the music and then the snow start falling on you. All this and not be freezing....

Would enjoy it now. Not sure how long it will last. With the way the park is changing. Would be a shame if it goes away though.

What time do they do these? Can we do dinner, fantasmic and this in all one night?

Just seen the park times for the days I am there that it is on and it closes at 7 or 8pm those nights. Just like @mommypenguin29 am i going to be able to do this and fantasmic in one night? Anyone know if they turn them off at closing, or if they keep them on a little longer?

We just added the night of Nov 6 to our trip so I'm over the moon to be able to go opening night! Question? Is it a show or just lights with continual music? Should we be there right at 6 or anytime after until close? Thanks in advance!
