EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

Two questions:
1. The family meal traditions do they post a menu early on that or is it come and get lucky?
2. Can I book today with a Chase card itself or just a Disney Chase?

I called back again after a work meeting. The CM said that a lot of events still have not been loaded into the system and that they're recommending people to call back on the 30th. She was also not able to tell me which days certain events / packages would be available if they have not yet been loaded.

I also asked if she knew when Disney would be updating their own official Food & Wine Festival webpage with details of all the special events and packages. She said that she was hopeful they would do it by the 30th. She also suggested writing to disney or completing an online survey conveying concerns and frustrations.
I purposely did the online survey today expressly to complain about the F & W info not being available yet despite them posting on the Disney Parks Blog that all the info would be posted 7/15.

called at exactly 7am, was on hold for 30 minutes-ish. was able to book everything I wanted except the 10.20.15 - Italian food wine vs beer. she said it was still locked.

Sorry you didn't get this one. I was able to book this event for the same date around 8:00 am.

I was told this morning that I had to use my Chase Disney Visa to book F&W events today.

Has anyone who is a TIW member actually received any recent e-mails from TIW about F & W event booking? I know someone posted a link to another website where the website owner had uploaded a copy of according to them the TIW F & W Booklet. Since the file is somewhat blurry & not a link to Disney but to a bloggers website it seems they uploaded something themselves after scanning it from somewhere. My current TIW membership expired at the end of June but I've always received the e-mails from them in the past even with expired memberships. I'd like to know if anyone has a link to the official Disney/TIW event brochure for this year that would be on the Disney servers.

I called at 11 AM got right through and the CM was so helpful and felt all of our frustration but could not book anything except deminars, PFTS general admission only, and the burger party. Robert Irvine was not loaded nor were some other celebrities. I was looking for the Sampler Package and was told that would be available on the 30th. So we shall see what happens on Thursday

Nobody knows. The event has been changed from the previous event done at France. The previous format had regional "themes" but you did not know the actual menu until you sat down at the restaurant.

Yes I got the email with the brochure in it, but it's not something I can link too, it was in the email.

Have a feeling if it cant be loaded is code for sold out of available seats.

The only menus that have ever been available in the past were for the Italian Food & Beer Pairings. There's a beer website that they actually somehow have gotten the menus for the Food & Beer pairings in prior years and have posted them but usually not until after booking starts. Also people write reviews after the first few events but that doesn't help to know anything before you can book. Something I read indicated the French Lunch menu would change each week this year.

It can be, or it can mean exactly what the CM says - from what I understand they can see only that an event is "unavailable" with no information as to why it is unavailable. If it is showing unavailable within a few minutes of booking opening, it is probably not loaded.

Thanks, I really want to go to it but I hope it doesn't end up being some insane Andrew Zimmerman type food.

I was in right at 7am. Had hold time of 35 minutes was answered in 45 minutes. No availability except general admission for PFTS 10/3. No availability for Parisian breakfast on10/10. Got French family lunch on 10/4 then her computer crashed. She had to reboot and go back in. French family lunch no longer available. Those were our top three picks. Did get Italian regional lunch, tequila lunch and Mediterranean lunch for later in that week. Guess I'll be up again Thursday. She checked for me on the Premium package. It will be available to book Thursday.

I booked Robert Irvine before 7:30am this morning, so I'm guessing "not loaded" and "sold out for Chase prebooking" are being used interchangeably at this point. It is quite frustrating that they are unable to differentiate, though. I'm sure it's the system, and they just can't tell. The majority of the seats should be available on Thursday though, so hopefully you will get them then!

Thanks I hope so too

Only reason I say that is I was in VERY quickly today but my CM couldnt "load" one of the two Amanda Freitag Demos...so I would tend to believe it was sold out for pre-booking. But it is probably interchangeable right now as another poster said.

Was able to book the Parisian Breakfast on 10/17.

Sorry for the uninformed question, but are all of you who were able to book events today (7/28) all Chase card members or what? DVC/AP/TIW people have to wait until 7/30 to make reservations?

To those of you who have lunches and tastings showing up on your MDE, does it show the name of the event or just a 12pm reservation at that restaurant?
