Wonder Returns to Galveston - November 6, 2015

We totally can't wait for our first Disney cruise. I wanted to know if anyone knows about multiple room check in. There are nine of us in 4 different rooms and 4 different reservation numbers. Is it possible for me to check all of us in? I'm worried about getting the same arrival time for all of us. Any advice would be welcome!

If you mean the assigned check-in time, I wouldn't worry about that. They won't stop you from checking in based on the earliest time. But I believe you need to have everyone there so they can check passports etc. I believe they also take a picture (or am I thinking of HAL - sheesh, my memory...). I have heard of adults checking in later (husband arriving later, etc), so you may not need all nine together at once, but you would probably need at least an adult per room.

Thanks so much!! Also what about checking in online. I read that you pick your arrival time when you check in online. I'm wondering if I should just check us all in online so I can try to get all same time

As long as you have their reservation # and they are all linked you can check everyone in online. You may have to change reservations #'s and do all 4 separately, but your times should be fairly close to each other. When you check in at the port DCL takes a pic of everybody to match it to the names on your KTTW card. When checking in online you will need everyone's passport number as I am not sure you can travel on a birth certificate this route. To speed through online check in, you can put random info in and go back and fix it after you have picked your PAT.

:thumbsup2 Thanks for validating, I thought they took a pic, but then I had a brain cramp and thought I was confusing it with a different cruise line! :crazy2:

:hyper: Anxiously awaiting tonight...

As exciting as tonight will be, I am wishing you luck on next weeks check in for a cabana! I am jealous of those of you who get to do a B2B.

Thanks so much! I need all the luck and wishes I can get. :tink:Just don't leave the ship - you can sneak :tiptoe: and hide in our closet.

:dancer: Whew - all checked in with Palo and excursions booked. Kind of bummed the Boatswain's Adventure Marine Park we wanted to do in Grand Cayman wasn't available. Oh well, we adjusted! That turned out to take longer and be harder than expected. Stupid Google Chrome would not let me check the check box accepting financial responsibility no matter what I did, so I couldn't proceed to get a port arrival time. Finally gave up and used Internet Explorer and it worked fine.

:cool1: Makes the cruise seem closer when you can actually check in. Is the Marine Park closed or just DCL is all booked up on excursions? We weren't planning on that doing that one, so I am curious. Maybe Google doesn't think you should be making financial decisions that late at night/early in the morning? Dang computers anyway:badpc:

:rotfl:My boss would not be pleased if I took another week, but it would almost be worth it to see you open a closet and find a stranger in there!:scared1:
:lmao:So true, I'm sure my face would be priceless! :faint:

I think the park is open, because they still had the dolphin encounter and turtle farm. Which is what we settled on, even though we really just wanted to do the park and turtle farm. I wondered if maybe the length of time was an issue, but there's only an hour difference between the two excursions, so I'm at a loss as to why it wasn't available. Oh well, DS is happy to be an observer and DD is happy to do the dolphin encounter and I'm just happy to be on vacation. ::yes::

As for Google... :scratchin .... hmmm, there's a conspiracy theory in there somewhere. ;)

Speaking of darn computers :badpc: I'm supposed to upgrade to Windows 10 next week right before my check-in. I'm hopeful I can postpone that until after, because I don't trust either DCL's flaky website or the backward compatibility of the new browser to insure I'm not prevented from booking things. I was really frustrated last night and it was just for my port arrival time, I would probably throw the darn laptop it I'm having issues trying to snag a cabana or brunch, etc. :sad2:

I can't wait to check in and see what works better, the tablet or the desktop. If all else fails I can try my laptop to cover all my bases!:scratchin I have a feeling it is not going to go well no matter what I choose.

Here is the updated FE list. We are down to 7 as I have removed Fatfish since I have not had a response from her on participating in a couple weeks.

Thanks!

:sad::sad: Well tonight was disappointing. No family cabana's available, only 2 serenity bay ones (adults only), and the 1 excursion in Nassau we wanted to do for some dumb reason say's there is an age restriction and won't let me include DD(13) even though the description and pricing goes all the way down to infants.
