We have booked the YC for August 2016 and are thinking of having 1 night at Universal in order to pick up the early entry and skip the lines.

I know absolutely nothing about booking at Universal hotels, except that it would need to be one of the Deluxe hotels to get those perks.

Do you get those perks booking from any website, or should it state specifically that you get express pass? For example, I have looked on Travel Republic and they state room only and there is no mention of any perks with Deluxe hotels. When I look on the Hard Rock Hotel website however, it does mention it.

Does anyone have any experience with this please?

I booked mine through Expedia and Quidco has tracked at 10% so I was happy with that. We go for 1 night in July to get the benefits. Like you I asked on these boards first and am glad I took everyone's advice to give it a go.

I booked via Hotels4U. The perks come with the hotel room, regardless of whom you book with.

And you'll get early access and FOTL for both your check in day and check out day :0)

Do you have a Universal Annual pass as we got a really good rate :0)

Also you can check in at 7am on the night of arrival, get your express- which is valid till park close the next day - then you get 2 days express

Early entry to WWOHP is not really worth it, all the Potter stuff is quieter in the afternoon

We haven't looked at any tickets yet. What would you suggest? We have only got the 14 day passes previously (bought from the UK). Is the AP worth it?

Ooh! Good info, I thought I read somewhere that you got express for the first day only. But it is for check-in and check-out days?

Yeah it's both days

We were going to do it, but we bought Annual Passes where you get free parking, and Express After 4pm. (Had 2 trips within 12 Months)

It might be worth you getting one AP for parking and room discounts. Everyone won't need one unless you are returning.
