DISApalooza 2015 Official Information Thread

We are trying to decide where to stay during this event. If we stay on Disney property we would need transportation to the party and to the podcast recording. Does anyone who has been to these parties before and taken the bus transportation provided by Dreams Unlimited remember how much it cost per person? I know the cost will not be exactly the same, but it will give me a guideline to go by to make some decisions.

Thank You
Ann Woodruff

If you can swing it, do a night or two at Universal. It's different but just as high quality. Plus you'll get into be before 1am!

It will be a first for us as well! Excited to finally attend one of these events!
It will be a first for us as well. We are staying at Saratoga Springs Thursday to Monday. Our plans are very simple. Saturday shop at Disney Springs the rest and go to the party then Epcot Wprld Showcase on Sunday and Candlelight Processional on Sunday. Friday the god daughter will fly in to join us. Not sure what we will do Friday yet.

I'm hoping John is watching and can help or someone can point me in the correct direction to email directly. A member of our group for DISapalooza just found out she will be relocating for work. Is it possible to have her credentials/registration information changed to her new address. Thanks in advance! So excited to be planning this December trip!

This may sound like a crazy question but here it is. I have purchased my tickets to DISApalooza 2015. I know it is a party with 900 of my DIS friends. I have been to Diagon Alley and am looking forward to not being trampled over by more than 900 of people also trying to get into Diagon Alley. So what happens other than getting into Diagon Alley and being able to get into the stores and ride Gringott's and Hogwart's Express?

Check out the first post in this thread for all the details of the entertainment, attractions and all that will be going on. There is also a link to click on that will bring you to a page with even more detailed information.

It's going to be a pretty amazing event! :wizard:

I think I asked this before but didn't get an answer. If I do not want to attend the party/didn't sign up too.
Can I still attend the podcast recording?

Sorry but I just don't know yet. We are still working on details of the live show and given the number of people attending the party we may have to limit it based on venue.

As always details will be posted here as we learn more.

I was hoping to get the 5pm Candlelight Processional show with the lunch package, but only 6:45 is available currently.

Do you think we would be late for Disapalooza if we left Epcot directly after the program? We are renting a car, btw. Thx!

I think you should be able to make it. The program lasts 45 minutes. With exiting and getting to the car I would guess that would still leave you with maybe 45 min to get to Universal? Unless you hit a major traffic issue it seems like that would be enough time. Perhaps you could park at an Epcot resort near the International Gateway and be able to exit a little quicker that way? (I don't know if that is technically "allowed" though or how that would work. Maybe eat lunch somewhere around there? Just some ideas. :)

Sounds too close for me. I'll call dining and see if there is any 5pm shows left. We have seen Whoopi before, so I will not be heartbroken if we don't go this year.

I'm not sure if this has already been covered. I know that there will be bus transportation between WDW and US for those who are staying on Disney property. But does anyone know if Universal transportation will be running late? I'm staying at Cabana Bay, and I heard on this week's podcast that it's a long walk back from the parks.

The venues that CityWalk close at 2 AM, so I can imagine that the buses should be running at least until then. It's not a very long walk to cabana Bay. If we do walk back together, it'll be a really fun group.
