Wow, I hope nobody was hurt. I live nearby and there was a pretty big thunderstorm around an hour ago; it's dissapated in the past half hour but I wonder if the building was struck by lightning.

Yeah ... This was pretty bad. We live pretty much across the street (in Dr. Phillips) from this resort and heard when the lightning hit that area. These are a few shots from our back porch just minutes after we heard that happening. We could smell the fire from our house. It was pretty bad. So was the storm, even by Florida summer standards.

Wow...we visited and stayed at Avanti a few weeks ago. It's a nice place too!
