Renting RV

My family and I are eagerly counting down the days to our first stay at Ft. Wilderness (31 days- eek!) This is our second family trip and our very first time staying on property. Since we have never stayed onsite before- let alone while also trying to coordinate an RV reservation as well, I am little confused on how that whole process works. I know Greenberg will come set up our RV and everything but when do we get our site number? Is it not until we physically get there? How does online check-in work? Do we check in online and then Disney sends up our site number?

Msquoted, we rented from Greenberg last summer, after choosing not to bring our Fifth Wheel down from Wisconsin. Anyhow, we checked in, were assigned our campsite number, and then called Greenberg. They were at our site within 30 minutes, and had us set up. Perhaps for some, it has worked different. You should get some sort of an email with a personal number to call, and not just the general number. That email should arrive about a week or two before you go. Enjoy your trip.

Our second family trip was also a visit to the Fort back in January. We rented an RV from Greenburg as well. Got our site number at check in and then called the folks at Greenburg. They told us to head to the parks and that we would get a text or a call when everything was set up. Less than an hour later, I got the call that we were good to go. Couldn't have been easier. Online check in lets them know that you are coming, but you don't get your site number until you actually show up.

And we LOVED the Fort, BTW. Had a great time. Can't wait to go back. And the trailer from Greenburg worked out perfectly for our, rather large, family.

Good luck!

We rented from Greenberg about 2 months ago. We did online check-in with our requested loop number. As long as you aren't there super early chances are Greenberg will already have you RV setup and waiting for you. When we arrived we checked in as normal, they gave us our loop number and we were on our way. One thing I will note is that when Greenberg arrived, Disney went ahead and charged our credit card in full so just be aware of that (we were going to apply a Disney gift card to our balance but couldn't because of that.) We never had to talk to Greenberg at all other than to book it and we did that via e-mail. Camper was well taken care of and with the outdoor package they had it setup very "cute." We were very pleased with them!

I'm confused, what did Disney charge you for? I'm OP's husband and we paid for the site in full already. Should we expect a second charge from Disney?
We had not paid in full already, normally we pay the balance at check in so this was new to us that they charged us prior to "checking in" however I'm assuming since the rental company had already delivered the RV that is why they went ahead and charged us our remaining balance.
