Hotel over run by teams

First, I should start off that I have stayed at all levels of hotel at wdw from all stars to blt. This is the first time that my room is in the middle of a team. I mean right in the middle. It was so very loud I asked to move to a new hotel regardless of cost. At this point, sleep is priceless. My question what happens to my passes, mugs and anything else linked to my room. I am having packages delivered from parks what happens to those items. I am not one to speak up ever as my coworkers point out but this was too much. Thoughts or advice would be helpful.

Sorry you're having such bad luck there. These are all good questions that you should ask a resort manager about before you move, and then again at the new resort when you get there.

As far as park passes go, these aren't linked to your room but instead to your MDE account so there shouldn't be any problem. I'm thinking that the mugs could be a problem though since they should work only at the resort they were purchased at. Hopefully, under the circumstances, they will give you a new mug at the new resort. For the packages, you'll again need to arrange with the old resort to forward those to your new resort, the manager at the old resort should be asked to handle this. At the new resort, alert them to expect your packages from the old resort.

Good luck on the transfer.

Going

Oh no I have the same concern for our December trip. Does anyone know when in December these teams invade ?

Are you in the middle of "teams" or the "15s"(South American Tour Groups)?

I am trying to think of any "teams" that would be at WDW in large numbers this time of year.:)

A few years ago my DD and I stayed at All Star Sports during 4th of July week. There was some sort of kiddie baseball tournament going on during this time. Lots of teams seemed to be staying at ASSP, as they were everywhere. We arrived late and were given a room in the football section, on the ground floor facing the football field. We were only going to be there 5 nights and I thought it wouldn't be that bad. I was so very wrong. They ignored all signs about quiet hours and needless to say, I didn't get much sleep for 5 nights. In hindsight, I should have asked to be moved to a different section or different resort. I learned my lesson and now I always check the Wide World of Sports calendar before booking.

As mentioned, nothing happens to your tickets,or mugs. Mugs are good at all resorts now. Arrange parcel transfer with resort.

But look--she is the one having to jump through all the hoops. The "teams" are free to carry-on as often and as loud as they please.

As with so many things in the world, the needs of the few get out weighed by the needs of the many.
Those teams are large revenue to Disney. 1 guest isn't. Sadly.
I'm glad to hear they are moving the OP.
The good news it shouldn't impact anything outside of the package and good advice on getting that handled is posted.
Even the mug won't be an issue

Pop Warner Super Bowl is December 5-12.:)

Must admit last year we were there around the SAME DATES, and the Pop Warner groups were there and I was CONCERNED when I first read about it.
Didn't notice them in the parks at all which was GREAT! :thumbsup2
I assume that the groups usually:scratchin stay at the All Star Resorts which didn't effect us thankfully. "To each his own" but always wondered how the kids made up the schoolwork, certainly a week or two before Xmas Break, always seemed that teachers had the "push" on with tests, projects before the week off between Christmas and New Years!

Yep--it's all about the $$$.

And along with Disney the parents/chaperones of these "teams" are oblivious to the trouble they cause.
