Bibbiddi Bobbiddi Boutique Hairstyle Options?

Are there any other hairstyles offered at BBB? I'm growing my daughter's hair long and would love if she could get an Elsa or Rapunzel braid when we go, but the only thing I've ever seen is the bun.

They might still do a Sofia the First at DTD but otherwise every style starts with the tight bun. You can always do pirates league for a mermaid style (which we adored even more) our instagram is quaketoys and we do have pics of both there (including that my kiddo really did not enjoy BBB overall, but she forgets that) although we brought our own dresses. We're doing both our next trip again, but this time we are going for the basic princess bun and if kiddo needs an adjustment, this time I'll be prepared (and insist they keep the gel out). I also would not use the gal who styled her at BBB. She was much too rough and while my kiddo has curly hair, it was very easy to comb through that day (I made triple sure). :)

These were the options when we went. But I know at different times they've offered Sophia the 1st and Anna and Elsa dos too. My daughter was 6 and loved it! We've also done pirate league and was a mermaid. She took her Ariel dress.... (Girl Ariel not mermaid Ariel... Easier to walk in around the park bc its a much shorter dress). We loved both but next year she wants to go back to BBB. Enjoy your trip!

The boys can be pirates while she's getting mermaided. So fun too!

That's a good idea! They tend to be more excited by super heroes and Power Rangers, but they might go for pirates for one day :). I think we will go with the mermaid experience for our next trip and try BBB out on our Princess Trip where it's just her and me. Thanks!

When we went last October for my daughter who was a mermaid.... My son was a pirate! He loved it! There was many choices on pirate makeup and how gross they wanted to look! We let him pick whatever. And he made a good choice and they are our favorite pictures so far taken from all our Disney trips!

I am super excited about this!! Do people usually bring their own dresses for their daughters? Probably very overpriced there

We took a dress. My daughter took it off as soon as we walked out bc it was itchy. Which I knew would happen! Next time, we will skip the dress entirely and just wear a cute, comfy princess themed outfit (or a comfy dress, not a costume dress). We didn't even get over to the photopass area for pics!!! (We did DTD location.) she literally cried as soon as she was out of the boutique and we went straight the bathroom t change!

We always brought clothes from home; but my daughter was older and wasn't going to wear a Disney Princess dress from there. The two times we had CRT booked, I picked up a formal gown on eBay in her favorite color. Usually ran me about $20. Add in some inexpensive accessories and her current church sandals and we were good to go. One other time when we didn't have CRT, she wore a twirl skirt, a tank top with sparkles and a denim vest.

We've done the highest package where they pick their outfits twice now. They're roughly the same pricing as the Disney store dresses, and they get a crown and wand with it.

They have no interest in the crown and wand this year so I'm looking into bringing our own dress in and doing the cheaper package. In once, it appeared that the extra $100 is pretty much just the cost of the dress and extras.

A couple years ago they had a hairstyle that looked like a ponytail with cornrows. I forgot the name Looks like they don't do that anymore?

They had it last year I think. That sounds like the one we got.

Pop princess

It is not the pop princess, it is a 4th hairstyle called the courtyard package. It comes with the package that has the tee-shirt and tutu. They will let you choose that hairstyle with the other packages though. DD picked that hairstyle with a different package. I will warn you though that DD absolutely hated it because she said it was extremely tight and hurt her head. She does have a sensitive head. She did the Princess Bun one year (I think she was 4 at the time) and it was so bad that she begged me to take it out in the park a couple of hours later because she had a really bad headache. That year the FGIT did do it extremely tight though, her face looked like she had plastic surgery it was pulled so tight! She has also done the Diva hairstyle and she absolutely loved that one and had no complaints. She said it did not hurt at all.

If you ever get a chance to go to Disneyland, they do have an Anna and Elsa boutique, and they have really cute Anna and Elsa coronation hairstyles they do there. It would be nice if the BBB would have those, as we are not really fans of any of the BBB hairstyles (although that didn't stop DD from doing it a few times!). If you want to see the Anna and Elsa Boutique hairstyles, you can see them here:

Those Anna and Elsa hairstyles are so cute! We'll be doing BBB in 2017 - I'm going to cross my fingers that they incorporate the Disneyland styles by then!

My granddaughter got the one with the ponytail and the cornrows last Sunday and it looked so cute. There were also extensions in colors of her choice. She chose the Snow White dress and also got a hairband and wand. It was the highest price package, I forget the name. It included a photo shoot where they got three of the photos printed off while there, and the rest are on our Memory Maker. It was a fun experience for her and there was no problem with the hair style being too 'tight'. One thing I'll recommend is to expect a wait if your appointment is later in the day. It may also occur earlier but my two daughters took my granddaughter and they had to wait for 45 minutes past her appt. time before they got in. Also, don't take a whole group of spectators with you because it gets extremely crowded!
