Holiday Must-See/Do?

Actually have all of that info (thank you, though!), my friend and I are incredibly organized :) We just weren't sure if there were any smaller eventss or sights that may not be official, or perhaps not listed.

the dis keeps up with most things even close to WDW.

how far offsite are you willing to travel?

I'm going in November the week they start the Very Merry Christmas Party and am planning on attending. I forgot about the Osborne lights (which is funny because I'm from where they started lol).

Have you been to the Christmas Party before?? (If not-it's well worth it & so much fun!)

This is my first trip ever. After wanting to go since I was little, I'm finally taking the plunge. My sister & I are taking our mother and treating her. I cannot wait!!

Not very, but we will have a car. So long as it's in the Orlando area.
Since you are willing to go offsite you might like to check out ICE! at the Gaylord Palms Resort. It is several rooms of carved ice, with lights, you are loaned a heavy coat while walking through, and coffee/hot chocolate afterwards.

Aleighanne-you will have so much fun! Let us know how it goes :D which dates are you going, if you don't mind my asking?
Com_op-thanks for the suggestion-that sounds awesome!

here is some of the holiday stuff - mostly at the theme parks - but know the little towns around WDW do stuff too

Celebration definitely has something

there is also something in the 4 season hotel (the new one - across bay lake behind CR) - don't know how you would get to it???

all the WDW hotels have something - my favorites are WL/VWL, AKL/AKV, GF/GFV, BC/BCV. BW, and even like the moderates (PO) and values (POP)

oh go by Fort Wilderness, OKW and SSR if you can - they all have decorations not from WDW - but from the guests - so drive around the places.

We'll be in town for the first night of the MVMCP and are debating buying tickets. Worth the extra money? I've never been during a non-summer month, and I'm excited to see anything holiday!

If holiday is your kind of fun, then yes! A special parade, music, snow, hot chocolate, & cookies :) (and park access on a limited-capacity night!)
