New DVC Vera Bradley/D&B Bags

Did anyone see the new bags that will be up for sale beginning tomorrow? I'm crazy in love with the leather D&B leather letter carrier, but the price scares me (especially since it's in US dollars and I'm in Canada, agh!)

Maybe convince hubby it's an early Christmas gift?

I saw them and wish there were a few more pictures, especially of the inside of the bags. (Want a padded pocket to hold my tablet). I don't think I can justify spending that much on a bag so I kind of hope they sell out fairly quickly to remove the temptation.

Was there a picture of the Vera tote? I couldn't get one to pop up on the members' website when I looked.

There is a picture if you actually go to the "Member News and Community" page on the new website, it's the first news item and it has a picture that shows all three on a shelf! I can't post it, I always forget how to post photos on here!

Thanks so much for posting this! I am a Disney Dooney addict, but I have to say that the leather bags don't do it for me, and OUCH on the price! At least the leather carrier is the same price as other leather letter carriers, but the tote has a premium even over those that I'm not willing to pay.

But surprisingly for me, I like the Vera bags. I wish we could see the prices on those, so I could think sensibly before I feel the frantic need to buy it tomorrow.

The price was there yesterday or Friday -- believe the Vera Bradley backpacks were $160.

Hmm, so again a premium, as the Vera backpacks are usually $125. I'll have to keep thinking about it. Thanks for the info!

I almost bought a black Vera Bradly purse at Disney but it just was not that cute. It looks like the one shown is black with just Disney Vacaton Member engraved. I could see just one Mickey. I am not impressed.

My Dooney and Burke letter carrier purse is the same size as the one coming out. I find it to small. If the new one was 2 inches wide I might consider it.

No sale here.

When I open up the page for the vera bradley on dvc nothing shows up can post a picture of wha the page says, like prices and what time they go on sale.

The Vera page is working now, with the details on the bags. $115 for the tote & duffle, $165 for the backpack. I'm still undecided because it doesn't have the mickeys in the quilting. It just looks like their regular black bags with a special patch embroidered. I'm surprised that the D&B is a whole new unique DVC design, and they couldn't even use the mickey quilting on the vera bags.

I did not realize it before, but the 10% DVC member merchandise discount CAN be combined with the 10% Disney Visa discount. So that makes a difference.

Thanks for posting this. I had already ordered and called to see if I could apply the code for the purchase. I was told you can't stack the codes. I went back online and checked myself, and, like you said, they do stack. I asked her to cancel that order and I would reorder myself. Further savings, go through topcashback for an additional 5% cash back.

I am not impressed with the new Vera DVC Bags. There is such a the LACK OF DISNEY. Why not have the quilted Mickey heads. I won't be buying these.

I got my first DB in April on our trip but I don't like this DVC one at all.
