Hi everyone. I just bought my ticket to Epcot for my trip at the end of July. It's my first time at Epcot and was wondering which two rides are worth a fastpass for tier 2? (I'm 24 going with my significant other) Thanks!

*Mission Space - There are two versions of this ride. They have a "Green" version and they have an "Orange" version. If you get a fastpass for this ride, you don't have to choose which version you want until you get there. The fastpass will let you ride on either version. We love the orange version of the Mission Space ride. It is more intense & more fun then the green version, however, some people cannot handle the orange version of this ride. You will feel the G-Forces on the orange version. We love it. Have fun.

This kind of information is found in the FP+ thread found HERE. Read post #1 and #2 for FP+ recommendations and timing advice.

Is your SO a bold, adventurous type, or timid and shy?

That might affect whether or not they'd enjoy Mission:Space.

None, actually. I wouldn't waste my fastpasses at EPCOT. Just be there before rope drop and ride standby for the rides you are interested. Save your fastpasses for the MK, and hop there if you have park hoppers. If you are bound and determined to use fastpasses at EPCOT, I really enjoy Living with The Land.

We do use FPs at Epcot, but really, only for Tier 1. We will rope drop either Soarin or Test Track and then FP the other.

We're not really interested in the Tier 2 attractions, and the ones we do go to (Figment for instance), we find we don't actually need a FP for. Certainly take a look at mesaboy2's FP thread and go with his suggestions. Or do like crostorfer suggests, and don't use the FPs at all at Epcot.

Mission Space and Spaceship Earth. The line for Spaceship earth can be suprisingly long at certain times of the day (we usually find the line longest on the way in the park, and opt to ride on the way out), so it can be worth the FP depending on the time of day you want to ride.

I agree with riding Spaceship Earth later in the day. I usually do WS early and FW after dinner-Spaceship Earth is rarely more than a few minutes' wait.

LWTL..never has a line longer than fifteen minutes. We love it and sometime go twice in a row. Soarin and Test Track for fp+.

2 things:

I would have agreed with you about LWTL before our last trip, but I saw some crazy lines for it on our last trip (granted, it was Thanksgiving week). According to this, the lines can get bad at higher crowd levels:

Regardless, I would never select it for a Tier 1 FP at Epcot.

Second, you can't select both Soarin and Test Track since they're both Tier 1s. But maybe that's not what you meant. I agree that they're both better choices for your Tier 1 FP than LWTL ... or Illuminations. We have more than 1 Epcot day, so we pick Soarin for 1 day and Test Track for the next.

I didn't know this, thank you so much!
