How do I link my tickets to my disney experience in the UK.

It depends on where you get your tickets from. If you go direct through Disney then the tickets will automatically link to My Disney Experience. If you go through another source such as Undercover Tourist you need to log into your MDE account and click to link your ticket and type in the 16 figure code on the back (the UT tickets explain this all to you when you receive them). Then the ticket will be registered to your MDE account

You should be able to link your whole package into mde through my reservations on the app with you're disney booking ref no. (7 digits iirc)

Hotel, dining & tickets through disney

Then if you link the hotel reservation the tickets will link automatically :thumbsup2

If they haven't then you just need to give Disney a quick call and they should be able to sort it out for you :goodvibes

It took about 8-9 days before our WDTC reservation would link. But I just tried daily with the booking confirmation from the email about our package, enter that in the part to link your hotel stay, along with you surname and then one day it will just link. It will then show your hotel and tickets in MDE.

How long is it before you travel to wdw? I have tried entering my reservation number on mde and it isn't letting me link my Disney hotel stay, tickets, etc.

I have rang Virgin and they have told me that I can't link it until 10 months before (although I have rang several times, I have had a different answer each time) so I don't trust them 100%.

I booked with Disneyholidays.co.uk (official UK Disney site) and it linked about 8-9 days after booking, we travel in Sepember 2016 so 15 months after booking.

I assume its becuase I booked with Disney and you booked with Virgin so you have to wait for Virgins system to add the booking to Disneys system.

Thank you for your speedy reply

One of the stories I got from Virgin was that it would take a few days for my holiday to link as they have been sending 1000's of holidays across to Disney and it would take a while for them to put them in their system. 2 months on its still not working.

I might live chat them again and see what story I get this time lol.

We booked ours direct through Disney and they Didn't automatically link, I had to go back and link them to my Disney experience.
To do this you need to download the PDF which is attached with the ticket confirmation, there should be a 16 digit code going down on the right hand side of the page. That is the number you need to type into my Disney experience when you click to link you park tickets, I think from memory it's called the 'will call ID' or something similar.

I have rang the Disney helpline number and they have told me to wait a couple of weeks as they don't load them on their system till 15 months before and to try my reference then.

I was just being too excited and eager to link it all up, however it was quite nice talking to lovely American guy with 'it's a small world' playing whilst on hold. Adding to my excitement even more

@misspickle - sorry you might have said somewhere & I have missed it.

Did you book direct with Disney?

We booked our holiday for next year (Sept) direct. The original confirmation email in May said it would be linked within 7 days, It didn't. When I tried to do it myself, I kept getting a warning message saying the reservation could not be found. I phoned the UK Disney helpline who were able to sort it out and it is linked now.

We booked last year's trip with Virgin Holidays, and if I remember correctly, they weren't able to give us our code to link to MDE until 90 days to go.

We have booked through travelcity direct which is a sister company to Virgin.

I haven't been able to link my Disney reservation etc with my reference number on mde, so after several phone calls to Virgin (travelcity) each of them giving me different answers I called the Disney travel helpline number that appears when it says your booking cannot be found. They told me that it won't register until 15 months before travel and if my reference number (from Virgin) doesn't work to ring them back and they will give me a new reference to link it all up.

I am now counting down the days until I can try their theory.

How long is it before your due to travel misspickle?

We booked with Virgin for Dec 2014, had to call Disney and they gave me a reference to link to MDE. Did it well before 180 days though.

Been told by Virgin that their Reference numbers should now work in MDE. We have a reservation for WL Thanksgiving 2016. Disney told me it should be sometime in July 2015 that it'll work.

I've found the Disney contact centre to be really really helpful in the past.
